New to Grow
I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or life transitions. You may find yourself overthinking, struggling to sleep, feeling disconnected from others, or carrying emotional pain that feels hard to explain or manage alone. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can make sense of what you’re going through and begin to create meaningful change. Using evidence-based approaches, I help clients build healthier coping skills, process difficult experiences, and regain a sense of control, clarity, and confidence—so you can start feeling more like yourself again and move forward with greater ease.
Here’s a clear, reassuring response you can use: Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, low-pressure space. We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you in, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I may ask questions about your background, current stressors, and how your symptoms are impacting your day-to-day life, but you can share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to go into everything at once. We’ll also begin to identify your goals and discuss how I can best support you using approaches tailored to your needs. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction, a better understanding of the therapy process, and a plan for next steps so you don’t feel like you’re navigating this alone.
Here’s a strong, polished response that highlights your uniqueness and experience: What makes me unique is my ability to meet clients where they are while blending compassion with practical, results-driven care. With years of experience working across diverse populations and age groups, I understand that no two people experience anxiety, depression, or trauma the same way—and therapy shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. I’m trained in evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and trauma-focused therapies, which allows me to help clients not only talk through their challenges, but actively process and move beyond them. My work has included supporting individuals through complex trauma, life transitions, and persistent emotional struggles, giving me a deep understanding of how these issues show up in everyday life. Clients often appreciate that I create a space that feels both safe and structured—I’m here to listen, but also to guide, challenge, and equip you with tools that lead to real change. My goal is not just to help you cope, but to help you heal, grow, and regain a sense of control over your life.
I am best positioned to serve individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change. I work well with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and sleep difficulties, as well as those feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating major life transitions. Many of my clients come in wanting practical tools to manage their emotions, improve daily functioning, and feel more in control of their thoughts and behaviors. Others are seeking deeper healing from past experiences or patterns that continue to impact their relationships, self-esteem, or overall well-being. I also support children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds, including those who may be new to therapy and unsure where to start. Whether your goal is to reduce symptoms, build coping skills, improve sleep, or process difficult experiences, I provide a structured yet compassionate space to help you move forward with clarity and confidence
EMDR
I have extensive experience using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression. In my practice, I use EMDR to help clients safely process distressing memories, reduce emotional intensity, and develop more adaptive beliefs about themselves. I tailor the process to each client’s readiness, ensuring a supportive and paced approach
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to feeling stuck , depressed, irritable, or overwhelmed, and practice simple, effective tools to shift thinking, improve mood, and build healthier coping skills.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)
I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) to support clients struggling with sleep difficulties. In my practice, I help clients identify thoughts and behaviors that interfere with sleep and implement structured strategies such as sleep scheduling, stimulus control, and relaxation techniques to improve sleep quality and consistency.
