Hi, I'm Erin! The one thing I love about being a therapist is being able to help individuals break the cycles in their lives that cause them feelings of "being stuck." I utilize a mix of tools/ interventions from Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy that allow clients to explore unresolved issues, challenge their thoughts, and develop insight into barriers that can be blocking their growth. My main job as a therapist is to teach my clients how to regain control over their lives whether it's from anxiety, depression or stress; we will work together to come up with a therapeutic style that helps clients progress towards their goals.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
First session we are diving right in! I approach intake sessions with a 50/50 approach. Yes, will we go over the "traditional intake questions" but I want my clients to finally be able to unload and start to dive in with current barriers and goals. I guarantee after all intake sessions every client will walk away with a coping skill or tool that applies to their current situation.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a therapist, I have several strengths that I believe greatly contribute to the positive outcomes of my clients' journeys. My easygoing personality allows me to quickly connect with individuals and create a safe and non-judgmental space where they can express themselves freely. I truly enjoy meeting each person where they are mentally & emotionally so they can live their truth and progress at a pace that is comfortable for them. Whether you're seeking relief from anxiety, seeking guidance in relationships, or striving for personal empowerment, my goal is to empower you to overcome obstacles, cultivate resilience, and create a fulfilling and meaningful life. I am committed to supporting you every step of the way on your journey towards healing and growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who is open to self-reflection and motivated to make changes in their life, even if they’re not sure where to start.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I focus on helping clients identify and challenge distorted thinking patterns that contribute to their emotional distress. Through structured sessions, I guide clients in developing practical skills, such as reframing negative thoughts and implementing coping strategies. I also encourage the use of exposure techniques to gradually confront fears in a safe and supportive environment, fostering resilience and promoting healthier thought patterns over time.

Erica was very welcoming and approachable. I appreciated that she has experience with OCD, which made it easy to explain the things I’m going through.
