New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem challenges, family conflict, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, burnout, people-pleasing, or emotional disconnection. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical, helping clients better understand themselves, build healthier patterns, and create lasting emotional change.
The first session is a space for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of safety and trust. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, the challenges you’ve been facing, your goals, and any important background experiences that may be impacting your current emotional well-being. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable moving at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and areas of growth while discussing what you hope to gain from therapy.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is helping clients connect insight with real-life change. I work well with individuals who are emotionally aware but feel overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship patterns, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or difficulty regulating emotions. Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, direct, and easy to talk to while also helping them feel challenged in productive ways. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, attachment-focused work, emotional regulation skills, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand themselves and build healthier coping strategies. I also place a strong emphasis on creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel emotionally safe, validated, and genuinely supported.
I work best with adults navigating anxiety, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, perfectionism, and family or attachment-related patterns. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who appear “put together” externally while internally struggling with overthinking, people-pleasing, burnout, emotional regulation, or difficulty feeling emotionally safe in relationships. I help clients build insight, healthier boundaries, self-trust, and practical coping skills while creating a supportive, collaborative therapeutic space.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and nervous system responses. In sessions, we work together to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, self-critical beliefs, anxiety cycles, and behavioral habits that may be contributing to emotional distress or relationship difficulties. I also help clients develop practical coping tools, emotional regulation skills, healthier self-talk, and more balanced ways of responding to stress. My approach to CBT is collaborative, compassionate, and adapted to each client’s unique experiences and goals.
