If you've tried therapy and still feel stuck, the approach may be the problem. Most people who find me have already done "the work" — and it wasn't enough. That's not a failure. It usually means they needed a more targeted method from the start.
If you know your thoughts aren't rational but can't stop them, feel trapped by routines you can't break, or have been avoiding more and more of your life to manage anxiety — that's exactly what I treat.
I specialize in OCD, anxiety disorders, and compulsive behaviors using ERP, CBT, and Habit Reversal Training — structured, evidence-based protocols with strong track records for the patterns that feel impossible to break on your own. Every session is practical. You leave with tools you can use immediately.
I work with adults dealing with OCD, intrusive thoughts, panic disorder, agoraphobia, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, health anxiety, body-focused repetitive behaviors (skin picking, hair pulling), hoarding disorder, and treatment-resistant depression.
I'm warm and direct. I'll be honest about what treatment involves, what progress actually looks like, and whether I'm the right fit — and if I'm not, I'll point you somewhere better.
The people who do well with me are done managing symptoms and ready to change them. If that's where you are, reach out.

If you’re tired of feeling stuck and want a therapist who 'gets' the complexity of your experience, I’m here when you’re ready.

Insurance:
Individuals, couples, and families: Services not clinically indicated are not always covered by insurance if the primary client/patient is not experiencing a medical necessity. Here's a few examples:
1. Most insurance plans don’t cover marriage counseling because it’s not considered a "medical necessity." That doesn’t mean therapy isn’t valuable, just that insurance companies tend to focus on diagnosed mental health conditions rather than relationship issues.
2. Life coaching or career coaching — focused on professional development rather than treating a mental health condition
3. General stress management without a diagnosed disorder — for example, “I just feel stressed” without a clinical diagnosis
4. Self-improvement or personal growth sessions aimed at building confidence, public speaking skills, or lifestyle changes
5. Vague or exploratory therapy without a clear diagnosis or treatment plan
6. Non-essential wellness or “feel-good” therapy not tied to a specific mental health need

As a therapist, I’m passionate about helping people understand themselves on a deeper level and feel more grounded in their lives.
