During our first session I can answer any questions you may have about my approach or therapy in general. I hope to get a better understanding of your goals for therapy during our first session and also work with you to begin developing strategies that will address your goals and that you can focus on between our sessions.

My approach to treatment will allow you to use new skills to begin targeting the areas that will lead you to achieving your goals. We will work together to refine your skills and individualize to your particular situation so you can take actions in your day-to-day life that will support you in achieving the happiness that you deserve.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy supports individuals in aligning their thoughts, feeling and actions so that an individuals specific goals for therapy can be achieved. By utilizing the methods learned through CBT sessions individuals can actively ulitilze new skills between sessions to assist them in moving toward and achieving their treatment goals.
