Hi! I'm Veronica, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15+ years of experience. My professional career has centered around supporting individuals through life transitions and address ways to practice better self care , build coping skills and live the lives they envision for themselves . I am a Perinatal mental health specialist (including pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, pregnancy loss, and reproductive challenges) and trained in both Cognitive Behavior therapy and Interpersonal Therapy-so whatever phase of life you find yourself in, you'll find support, care, and understanding in our time together

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Relationship is everything! In our first session, I take time to understand your life and the things you care about, including relationships, stressors, health, identity and other factors. My hope is that you feel the time in session flies because you are enjoying the process.Therapy should be a comfortable place to talk about uncomfortable things-and not feel judged or misunderstood. Our work together will focus on support and truly seeking to understand the barriers that make you feel stuck, sad, or anxious-and find solutions to make change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I focus on being warm, approachable, non-Judgemental. I love to hear clients say that the time in session has flown by-that means that I've made something that you felt may be challenging a lot easier to get through.

I work with high functioning individuals who have difficulty with managing stress, self care, and relationships. Self care has been hard to keep up, or maybe you don't know where to start. Maybe you are deep in burnout, dealing with overwhelm, and going through life transitions. I'm so excited for you as you work towards living your best life now!
