I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) providing individual therapy to adults (18+) across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. My journey to becoming a therapist began with a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. This passion led me to pursue a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology, giving me insight into both human behavior and the systems that shape our experiences. From there, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, building a strong foundation to guide, support, and empower those I work with.
My practice is grounded in a client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed philosophy. I view therapy as a partnership, with your voice and perspective at the center. I draw from approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to meet your needs and support meaningful progress.
Hi, I’m Amy. I live in Missouri with my husband, our sweet dog, and two very sassy cats who definitely keep life lively. Being both a military spouse and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker has shaped who I am, both personally and professionally. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s transitions, challenges, and seasons of growth. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, and perinatal mental health.
My journey into social work began with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alaska, followed by a master’s degree from the University of Maine. For more than 20 years, I’ve supported people through anxiety, trauma, infertility, grief, and the everyday pressures of life. What I love most about this work is creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted while finding your own path forward.
At the heart of my approach is the belief that you are not broken and don’t need to be “fixed.” Healing is possible, and resilience can grow even in the most difficult circumstances. Whether we’re working through painful past experiences, navigating anxiety and perfectionism, or adjusting to a major life transition, my goal is to help you develop greater self-compassion, reconnect with what matters to you, and create a life that feels meaningful and authentic.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I believe your experiences, goals, and readiness should guide our work together. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. We can start where you are and take it one step at a time.

Welcome. I’m a combat veteran and retired Army officer, Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and experienced clinical psychologist. I want to get into the root causes of your struggles or battle and find ways to overcome, change, forgive, accept, and move upward toward the light. It may not seem like it, but the darkness will eventually lift, and the light will surely shine again.
Life is a battle in the heart, and I humbly accept that I will be in my own battle or someone else’s battle for the rest of my life. Like the weather, our emotions are powerful. Many days the sun shines, but the rains do come and sometimes a destructive storm hits hard (divorce, the loss of a loved one, cancer, suicidal thoughts, et cetera). It's a battlefield. When it comes to the challenge of relationships, so often, it is ego (wounded pride), self-esteem, and powerful emotions at the root of our conflicts. To understand these forces is the key to peace. Let's work through it!
I have been honored to be in the field of psychology for 22 years since 2004. Through the years, more than half of my time was in the Army where I primarily worked with soldiers enduring anxiety, depression, trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, and all the other usual suspects of psychological distress. It was a time well for the analysis of guilt, fear, worry, shame, pain, heartbreak, addiction, identity conflicts, and sorrow. I’ve also worked in the prisons for many years with some extreme situations (i.e., murder, severe mental illness, rape, child molestation, drug kingpins, gang leaders). So, no matter what your circumstances are, never quit and never give up! Survival is a noble plight!

I would be honored to assist you in your journey towards a happier healthier you.

I have a successful history in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, & confidence. I pride myself in being a partner in you developing a new way to see and interact in reality.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from day one. With seven years of post-graduate experience, I've worked with people from many backgrounds and life stages. I believe therapy is a collaborative process- where you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as we explore your goals together using talk therapy, along with creative approaches like art, drama, mindfulness, or meditation when they fit your needs.
Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety takes the wheel — but you don't have to stay stuck there. I'm Dionysia Okeh, LCPC, a trauma-informed therapist with 4 years of experience helping clients feel less anxious and more in control of their lives.
I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach to every session, drawing on CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to meet you exactly where you are, no judgment, just real support. Together, we'll work through what's weighing on you and build practical tools that help you feel grounded, confident, and steady again.
Whether anxiety is showing up in your relationships, your work, or just your day-to-day peace of mind, I'm here to help you find your footing.
Ready to feel more in control? Book your first session with me today — I'd love to support you on this journey.
My identity and therapy practice are highly intertwined as I always say "I am a human before I am a therapist". Yes I went to college and got a big degree but my general desire for my clients is for them to feel like they are sitting with an authentic human who has "been there before". I moved from my home in Eastern KY Appalachia to Louisville in 2019. Having this experience has shown me that there ain't much difference in the suffering people have in the country and the city. I believe that our current society and systems all too often force people into hard spots and then tell them to pull themselves up and keep it pushing. My goal in therapy is to slow things down to normalize for you that we are not working on "what's wrong with you" but instead "what happened to you". This allows you to feel safe enough with me to share the parts of your life/mental that even you don't want to address. That is when you start healing. Cause once you feel seen and supported, you feel empowered enough to figure out how YOU want to live (not how you have been told to). I describe this whole process as you are driving the car and I am riding "shot gun" just pointing things out and making suggestions! I find that my unconditional acceptance of clients, use of real world humor/experiences, and gently pushing for change allows us to start building the skills and strategies you need to live in this world as an authentic you. Another favorite saying of mine is "it's your world my guy I'm just living in it"!

Hello. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and I'm also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois. I have worked in the field of Social Work for 25 years at the Bachelor's level, including case management for at-risk youth, CPS investigations and medical social work. I received my Master's of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville and have been practicing five years. At this time, I provide individual therapy to adults dealing with anxiety, depression and trauma among other issues. We work to recognize triggers/barriers to successful living and then learn to effectively reframe these in order to be a better version of yourself.
As a licensed therapist in Kentucky with over three decades of clinical experience, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating the complex emotional landscape of life. My practice focuses on addressing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and interpersonal relationship dynamics. I have extensive expertise in working with teens, adults, older adults, veterans, first responders, and individuals experiencing life transitions.
