Mental illness is as real as any physical illness. We talk normally about cancer and diabetes, although the same should apply to mental illness. Emotional and mental health are just as important as the physical health of a human being. The emotional trauma that a brain endures in various of the human life cycle can be damaging and in the long run, just as detrimental as a psychical illness.
People donate their organs, but they cannot donate their brains. Some people live with human-made hearts, but there is no such thing as human-made brains. I believe that our brain is the most important organ in our human body, so why don’t we start taking good care of it?
Therapy is not only for people with mental illness. Therapy is for everyone. We all have faced or currently face some hardships in life. Talking to a therapist can help you deeply in improving your mental health, decrease your stress and live with more joy and intention! Make your appointment today!

Hi, I’m Aquanatte Jackson, LCSW, and I truly believe that healing starts with compassion — for yourself, for others, and for the journey you’re on. I’ve spent more than 15 years helping people find peace, clarity, and strength in the middle of life’s hardest moments.
I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, major life transitions, and relationship challenges — including couples who are trying to rebuild connection and communication. My goal is to create a space that feels real, safe, and judgment-free — where you can show up as you are, without pressure or pretense.
My approach blends compassion-focused care with evidence-based methods that help you uncover what’s really driving your emotions and patterns — not just manage the surface stuff. I want you to leave each session feeling lighter, more grounded, and more in control of your story.
Whether you’re adjusting to change, learning to manage anxiety, or trying to reconnect in your relationship, I’m here to help you move toward healing and growth — one step at a time.
Because at the end of the day, my philosophy is simple: together we heal, together we thrive.
I’m a trauma therapist for women and girls, and my work centers on how your experiences have shaped your relationships, motherhood, identity, and emotions—especially anxiety, depression, and anger. I hold space for the versions of you who learned to survive and the version of you who is ready to heal. This space is meant to feel like a love letter to yourself: a place to break cycles, soften self-criticism, and practice putting yourself first beyond your trauma.
Hey there, my name is Shakirah. Are you struggling with finding your passion or purpose? Have you realized that what you thought you wanted has changed? What about trying to keep it together during these challenging times? I have been providing therapy to adults struggling with stress management, low motivation, and self-esteem issues for the past 10 years. I help others change maladaptive habits like negative self-talk, procrastination, and inconsistency. These times are uniquely challenging and everyone could use some support. Using evidence-based interventions like CBT, Acceptance Therapy and mindfulness as well as implementing healthy boundaries and self-care, I can help you reach your goals and find more enjoyment in your day-to-day. I am inclusive and LGBTQ-affirming. There is no better time to start than NOW.

In our sessions together you can be confident and stress-free knowing you are in a safe space, which will allow you to heal, grow, and learn new things about yourself. I would like to describe myself as a guy who likes to collaborate with clients to reach their goals and help guide them to overcome barriers that are stopping them to achieve them. I currently work as a social worker at the VA and meet with veterans who are trying to maintain housing, while also managing mental health and substance abuse issues. Through out my career as a social worker, I've dealt with at risk youths, inmates, and substance abuse, and homeless population. I've come to realize that a lot of people have one thing in common, they all would like to be treated with respect and allow them to have their autonomy. My great listening and problem solving skills with my clients help them to come to solutions to their own problems. That's what a lot of my clients can expect is a person who ask open-ended questions to help them consider things that they normally haven't and challenge their thoughts or desires versus their actions in life.

My approach is compassionate and culturally sensitive, ensuring each client feels understood and supported. I am committed to guiding clients toward accepting what can and cannot be changed, identifying behaviors that foster growth, and helping them build a meaningful and fulfilling life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is passionate about being a therapist and actually feels called to it. I believe that we all deserve to live a meaningful and fulfilled life, where we feel ACCEPTED, HEARD, SEEN, CARED FOR, and VALUED. I have a genuine interest about people… about how we became the people that we are, who and what influenced are decisions, what we believe, and how they contribute to the ways we think, feel and behave. I am zealous about helping people know and appreciate who they really are, and not just what people and experiences have conditioned them to believe they should be.
My main areas of focus are on Anxiety, Attachment Issues, Self-Worth and Trauma where I infuse a mixture of CBT, EMDR, Inner Child, Parts Works and Reality therapy in our sessions to achieve your goals in therapy. However, the greatest help I provide is giving you different perspectives and insight that you may have not been considered before, which in turn may change the way you feel and think about the situation. It is my hope that after understanding how your past has shaped how you view your current circumstances, and presses on your future, that you can heal from it and move forward.
My Christian faith is also a big part of who I am and how I view the world. For those interested in incorporating Christian counseling in sessions this can be an amazing way to grow your faith, and help to reestablish your belief in God and how He sees you. I understand that not everyone feels or believes the way I do, and that is perfectly fine. Being a Christian is not a requirement to meet with me, nor does it have to influence our sessions unless desired.

Feeling lost in the chaos of life or the tough stuff most therapists won’t touch? Hi, My name is John’Neiska "JoJo" Williams and I am a licensed professional counselor in the states TX, GA LA, CO and I can assure you, you’ve come to the right place. Kick off your shoes and relax your feet—because therapy with me will never be a cliché.
Therapy isn’t just venting—I’m not here for small talk. I have a laid-back vibe, but make no mistake I’m here to challenge, teach, and help you grow with real change. No clichés, no endless “How does that make you feel?” I believe that true healing happens when we bring the mind and body into the same conversation. While most people think thoughts lead to behaviors, I’ve seen how often behaviors can shape thoughts and how powerful it can be to work counterintuitively to spark change.
Thats why I focus on the primary use of Counterintuitive Therapy that is rooted in blended approaches from the frameworks of Behavior therapy and Gestalt therapy in a way that’s present-focused, dynamic, and deeply human. Some moments in life demand that we focus on the here and now, while others call for us to explore how the body has been keeping score of past experiences. Some emotions and stress doesn’t fit meet the criteria of a one-size-fits-all model. My particular interest in counseling stems from my desire and ability to see the good potential in people. I appreciate and respect a person’s resilience and optimism to seek help in counseling. Resilience requires persistence, so counseling is a good opportunity for people to reflect on their past experiences and explore their feelings and values. Clients place a great deal of vulnerability and responsibility in seeking help from professional counselors.
