I am a Chinese-American adoptee who grew up in Grand Junction, CO. My childhood memories consist of playing imaginative games with my sisters and close friends. In my youth, I was an active member in choir, performed in musicals, and focused on my dream of being a ballerina. When I was 18, I decided to move across the country and attend Goucher College in Baltimore, MD where I obtained my BA in Psychology and Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies. Between my undergraduate and graduate education, I moved to Australia and worked as a residential counselor for displaced youth. Upon my return to the USA, I attended the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work where I obtained my MSW with a concentration in Mental Health. Upon graduating, I began my private practice and served as a school social worker at Montview Elementary in Aurora Public Schools. Now, I focus on my therapeutic work and advocating. Fun fact, I'm also a professional dancer and instructor at a local dance studio! My life-long journey of navigating what it means to be an Asian-American female adoptee fuels my passion for helping others make sense of who they are in this world.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Colorado. I received my Masters in 2008 and have been practicing since. I am honored and enjoy helping adults in individual counseling to navigate various life experiences, stressors and challenges to become a more productive, healthy version of themselves. If we draw a circle around ourselves and then begin working on the person in the middle of that circle, we recognize that is the only person we have control over to make changes, then we begin to grow.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity questions. My style blends depth-oriented therapy — exploring the deeper patterns and stories that shape you — with practical, evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I spent nine years on the Boulder Crisis Team, providing psychiatric evaluations in ERs, jails, and walk-in clinics, which taught me how to stay calm and effective in moments of distress. In our work together, we’ll use both insight and skills — helping you understand the roots of your struggle while learning concrete ways to regulate emotions, change unhelpful patterns, and create a more meaningful, resilient life.

I’m a first-generation Latina therapist, and that lived experience gives me a unique lens in how I show up for the people I work with. I understand the mix of cultural expectations, generational patterns, and just trying to get through everyday life. Many of my clients come in carrying anxiety, self-doubt, depression, or trauma, but also the very real, everyday stuff: relationship stress, distrust in others, feeling not good enough, not wanted, not seen. In our work together, I help you unpack those feelings and begin to challenge the negative narratives that may be shaping how you see yourself. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about helping you understand where those patterns come from and supporting you in rewriting the story in a way that feels more honest and empowering. I believe healing starts from within. Empowerment isn’t just about what we can do, it’s about remembering who we already are. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, find your voice, and build a life that feels more grounded, more intentional, and more yours.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Texas and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado I have made the commitment to help others as they face adversity so as to develop a loving and compassionate relationship with themselves. I bring a wealth of experience and specialized training in addictions and mental health to my practice and there is one common theme I have noticed throughout my career, which is our self-talk. We are our own worst enemies, and this wreaks havoc on our self-esteem.

Hi, I'm Haley, it's great to meet you. I'm a licensed clinical social worker and therapist who offers trauma-informed, affirming therapy that welcomes you in your entirety. My work is guided by compassion, collaboration, and curiosity. I aim to create a space that feels calm and genuine, where you can exhale and simply be yourself without needing to perform or hold everything together. To me, affirming care means honoring every layer of identity and experience that shapes you. I understand that everyone carries their own story, history, and way of moving through the world. My role is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as we explore what healing, stability, and growth can look like for you. Our time together is centered on connection, trust, and understanding. We might focus on strengthening coping tools, deepening self-awareness, or finding moments of calm in the middle of life’s noise. I tailor my approach to fit your pace and what feels most supportive, blending evidence-based methods with genuine human connection. Therapy is not about fixing what is broken. It’s about listening to the parts of you that have been unheard, tending to what needs care, and building a relationship with yourself that feels steady and kind. I’m here to hold that space with you.

In my practice, I take a Whole Health approach to counseling, supporting you in a way that honors your unique needs. I believe that true change comes from nurturing every aspect of your life, including diet, exercise, sleep, and more. My goal is to help you unlock your potential and cultivate lasting growth, using your insights as the foundation. My path to becoming a mental health provider began with a deep curiosity about the human experience and a genuine desire to help others find meaning and healing in their lives. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand how life’s challenges can impact our well-being, and I saw the profound difference that compassionate support can make. These early experiences inspired me to learn more about how we cope, grow, and ultimately thrive, even in the face of adversity. I realized that being a provider would allow me to walk alongside others as they navigate their unique paths, offering guidance, encouragement, and evidence-based tools to support their goals. What truly motivates me is the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and transformation. I am honored to help create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make positive changes. Frequently asked questions

Why filter by state rather than a city?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across the entire state. If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near your address.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
