New to Grow
I’m a trauma-informed, gender-affirming therapist with 7 years of experience helping people navigate trauma, sexual abuse, PTSD, and questions around identity. I also have experience working with young kids, which shaped the way I bring empathy and care into every session. I use a mix of CBT, ACT, attachment-based, and mindfulness approaches to help clients build coping skills, self-compassion, and resilience while staying true to who they are.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and discuss your goals. I’ll explain my approach, answer any questions, and we’ll start figuring out what a supportive, practical plan looks like for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I’m collaborative, empathetic, and practical. I combine trauma-informed and gender-affirming care with evidence-based tools from CBT, ACT, and attachment-based therapy. I help clients feel safe, build coping skills, and gain self-awareness so they can make meaningful changes in their life. I focus on creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults and adolescents who want support with trauma, sexual abuse, PTSD, anxiety, grief, or navigating identity and life transitions. Clients who are looking for a safe, affirming space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and relationships — and are ready to work collaboratively — are the best fit.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I incorporate ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility and live in alignment with their values. This approach focuses on accepting difficult thoughts and emotions, clarifying priorities, and taking meaningful action toward personal goals.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients understand the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This approach provides practical tools and strategies to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and other challenges, while empowering clients to create lasting change.
Trauma Informed Care
My work is trauma-informed, prioritizing safety, consent, and empowerment. I help clients understand how past experiences may impact present functioning, while moving at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.
Gender-affirming therapy
I provide gender-affirming care, creating a safe and respectful environment for clients of all gender identities. My approach supports exploration of identity, fosters self-acceptance, and addresses mental health concerns in a culturally competent and inclusive way.
Attachment-based
I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand patterns in relationships and early experiences that may affect current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This perspective informs therapy in a collaborative, compassionate way, helping clients build healthier connections with themselves and others.
