Hi, I’m Connor, an LCSW with a certificate in Human–Animal–Environment Interactions (HAEI). I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative and supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are. My work combines evidence-based approaches with experiential therapies, including equine- and canine-assisted interventions, to help clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and reconnect with their strengths. I aim to create a space that feels safe, genuine, and even a little bit of relief in the middle of life’s challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll create a welcoming, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable sharing what brings you to therapy. We’ll spend time getting to know each other and go over any necessary intake forms or documents. This session is also an opportunity to discuss your goals for therapy and start exploring approaches that fit your needs, so you can leave feeling heard, understood, and ready to begin your journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I blend evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy with somatic, strengths-based, and experiential methods, including Animal-Assisted Therapy. I focus on helping clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and regulate their nervous system. Clients often appreciate my warm, collaborative style and my ability to combine practical tools with deep insight, supporting meaningful and lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with children (ages 6+), teens, adults, elders, couples, and families who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, trauma, or emotional overwhelm. My clients are looking for a supportive and collaborative space to explore their experiences, develop coping skills, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. I also work with clients who are interested in experiential approaches, including equine- and canine-assisted therapy, to deepen self-awareness, connect with their strengths, and support meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. Together we build practical coping strategies and new ways of thinking that support healthier responses to stress and life challenges.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. These tools help clients manage intense emotions and respond to difficult situations with greater balance and intention.

Somatic

I use Somatic Therapy approaches to help clients increase awareness of how stress and trauma are held in the body. Through grounding, body awareness, and nervous system regulation techniques, clients learn to reconnect with their bodies and develop a greater sense of safety and stability.

Strength-Based

I use a Strengths-Based Therapy approach to help clients identify and build on their existing strengths, resilience, and resources. This perspective focuses on empowering clients and supporting their ability to create meaningful change using the capabilities they already possess.

Family Therapy

I incorporate principles of Family Therapy to explore how relationships and family dynamics influence individual experiences and wellbeing. This approach helps improve communication, strengthen relationships, and support healthier patterns within the family system.
