Hi, I am Trisha Leamon, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have had an interest in human behavior for as long as I can remember. I enjoy helping my clients source their strengths and achieving effective ways to navigate life’s challenges. My professional experience has given me the opportunity to work with clients who are facing substance abuse, depression, anxiety, divorce, codependence, and grief. I especially enjoy working with clients who are navigating difficult transitions such as divorce, relationships, work, adding to their family, retirement, and the many other journeys of life. My personal experience of my sons passing in 2008 was a large part of my desire to work in the counseling field. Through my own journey, I recognized how difficult past experiences can often play large roles in how we navigate life. My goal with therapy is to offer my clients a caring, attuned therapist as we find new ways to solve problems, heal old wounds, and strengthen the way you live your life. I embrace client focused/strength based theories, CBT, and love the works of Brene Brown.

If you struggle with anxious attachment, people pleasing, setting boundaries, feeling triggered, anger, anxiety, depression, co-dependence, parenting issues, and ADD/ ADHD, then I want to work with you. These symptoms and attachment style are often related to each other and often related to similar childhood experiences of inconstant or abusive/neglectful caregivers. (ADD and ADHD is not cause by caregivers, however, when it goes undiagnosed in children, there is s strong correlation to symptoms described above)

I am a straight-forward but empathic therapist, who also appreciates the same from her clients. I have experience in many areas, including hospital, foster care, group homes, forensics, Veterans, home health, etc. I received my Masters of Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve Univerity, and my Doctorate of Psychology from California Southern University. Although I have a doctorate degree, my scope of practice does not fall under psychological testing, pharmacological practices, nor community services. Hello! I’m Lexi. I’m so glad you’re taking this step toward care. As a therapist, my passion is helping people move from feeling overwhelmed and disconnected to feeling centered, stable, and safe within themselves. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC) and have specialized training in trauma-informed approaches, including CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and attachment-based therapy. My work draws from these modalities to create a space that feels grounded, compassionate, and personalized to your needs. My clinical experience includes individual therapy, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), crisis intervention, and community-based services. I’ve supported survivors of domestic violence, exploitation, and trafficking, as well as individuals on probation and those navigating major life transitions, postpartum changes, and relational or attachment trauma. I also work closely with clients coping with borderline traits and the deep pain that can come from stigma or invalidation. What I’ve learned through this work is that real healing begins in a safe, trusting relationship. I approach therapy with empathy, patience, and curiosity, meeting you where you are and helping you build tools for regulation, connection, and self understanding. Whether we’re exploring emotional wounds, strengthening boundaries, or rediscovering your sense of self, our sessions will move at a pace that feels respectful and empowering. Ultimately, my goal is to help you heal emotional pain, build resilience, and reconnect with your own inner strength. Together, we’ll create space for growth, safety, and self-compassion so you can live a life that feels more balanced, intentional, and authentically yours.

I am a down-to-earth and collaborative therapist who believes that the foundation of effective healing is a genuine, honest connection. I prioritize creating a transparent environment where you feel heard and respected, allowing us to work as true partners in your mental health journey. My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is most effective when it is practical, straightforward, and focused on your unique reality. In our sessions, I value honesty and the identification of healthy, realistic goals. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where we work together to uncover the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying irrational thinking patterns and challenging negative self-talk, we can begin to reframe your narrative in a way that serves your growth rather than hindering it. I understand that starting therapy can feel like a significant step, which is why I focus on providing a non-judgmental space where we can tackle challenges at your pace. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, daily stress, or life transitions, my goal is to provide you with a functional toolkit of strategies you can use long after our sessions end. Reaching out for help can be a very vulnerable experience, but also a great attribute of strength and resilience. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma in their life. Whether it's from childhood neglect, sexual assault, natural disaster, sudden death or other life circumstances. Trauma often creates patterns and loops that extend into many areas of a person's life, and can be challenging and painful to navigate. Sometimes the way people survive their trauma brings them more pain, adds to the chaos, and reinforces negative beliefs that perpetuate the cycle. I work to empower clients to understand and alter unhealthy cycles to strengthen and better their lives. I am fluent in ASL American Sign Language and have worked with Deaf clients leaving domestic violence in both a shelter and outpatient therapy services. I have spent 2 years in correctional settings working with severely mentally ill patients and supporting their family members navigating having children with mental illness. I have also spent 2 years working with foster youth and foster parents in providing support to their placements, promoting healing and preserving relationships. Note that online scheduling is limited. Broader scheduling options will be available to regularly scheduling clients. Please also note that I do not provide opinions about disability or fitness to return to work or other activities for clients who are not well-established at the time that the request for such opinion is made.

My work centers queer/trans, BIPOC, chronically ill or disabled, and other multiply marginalized clients navigating individual, interpersonal, and intergenerational trauma shaped by systemic violence and survival within inequitable conditions. I am deeply inspired by Black feminist sci-fi writer Octavia E. Butler, whose storytelling shaped my belief that healing is a practice of imagining and building ways of living beyond forces that dominate, dehumanize, and disconnect, such as white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalism. My therapeutic approach is relational and depth-oriented, influenced by abolition and disability justice, which reject punitive mindsets, value every body, and attend to how systemic forces shape our internal worlds, relationships and sense of self. I seek to support this work by gently uncovering coping strategies that were once necessary for survival but may no longer align with who you are becoming or how you want to relate to yourself and others. This approach resonates with people seeking honest self-reflection, emotional accountability, ongoing exploration and deeper self-understanding.

I'm Tobey Allen, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience walking alongside through life's biggest transitions. My own path has included more than one reinvention, from a career in graphic design to becoming an art therapist, and that experience shapes how I support clients navigating change today. Whether you're facing a career shift, caring for aging parents, adjusting to chronic pain or illness, or working through grief, I bring both clinical training and lived experience reinventing my own path. I also spent years as a bereavement therapist in hospice care, so I understand grief deeply, both as a clinician and as someone who has sat with families through some of their hardest moments. My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuinely non-judgmental. Together we'll work to uncover the patterns keeping you stuck, whether in relationships, at work, within yourself, and build toward a life that feels more balanced and true to who you are.
