I use a client centered approach in therapy sessions. I am here to listen to your words and be understanding, I will also provide feedback as needed. You can count on a nonjudgmental, safe and confidential space. It has been a privilege to work with adults, families, and children. I look forward to joining you in discovering all that life has to offer.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will spend some time getting to know each other, then we will discover what is challenging you and how best to approach the challenge. This will help us to come up with a game plan to work through with our follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individual's and couples over the years has helped me to understand that everyone is different and we all have unique challenges that we have to face. In session there is no judgement and I am here for you. I am up front and honest in our sessions. I will always tell you the truth. I want you to get better and have a full life outside of therapy. I enjoy being a therapist but I do not want you to be in therapy any longer than you need to be.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

To help individuals develop a greater sense of self confidence in one's own abilities. This is done by recognizing cognitive distortions in thinking that are creating the problem and then to reevaluate them in the light of reality. In other words, understanding that not all thoughts are facts.

Faith based therapy

The use of Faith based therapy helps us to find purpose and meaning in our lives. Spiritual meanings help guide us through life challenges. Learning how to forgive ourselves and others is a challenge that helps bring healing.

Mind-body approach

I use holistic healing strategies in therapy and address each client through the lens of mind, body, and spirit. I enjoy expanding the mind with new ideas and practices by being an active learner in this regard which allows me to continue bringing fresh perspectives and healing strategies into sessions. I am fascinated with the brain and body working in unison, which can lead to swift healing and rapid achievement of the therapy goals of her client
