Hello,
You may have often heard some people say that therapy is for only those with a mental illness or are "crazy".
I'm Mark G. Koch and have been a licensed Marriage Family Therapist since 1996, and I can honestly tell you that those type of statements are a myth. Everyone has a view of how the world works and we use the tools we have to deal with our issues, but occasionally there comes a time when a problem arises that we have no answer to. At this point we become "stuck". You can say that these are the cards life has dealt you and do nothing, or you can get help to learn new ways to see your world and use new tools to change your world. You have the strength and you have the power and somewhere in your mind, you have the answers. My job is to help you find them and to show you how to use them, so that you can begin to move towards whatever your goals are for your world.
I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including private practice, psychiatric hospitals, County Mental Health, non-profit organizations and most recently utilizing remote virtual therapy. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. My expertise in is Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and other Anxiety Disorders along with Depression, but I also have had a multitude of experience with Personality Disorders, Bi-Polar Disorders, and with dual diagnosis. A dual diagnosis is when a person has a mental health issue such as depression, and is also dealing with a drug/alcohol issue. Having said all of this, I actually have had a great amount of success dealing with adolescents, those having relationship issues, and communication between couples. I look forward to hearing from you.
Are you trying to untangle a personal and/or relational challenge where your sexual behavior is a factor? Maybe it is an affair that just got found out and you have been accused of being a sex addict. Perhaps you are struggling with mismatched sexual desire with your partner, so you supplement with porn and masturbation (in secret)! Maybe your goal is to solve the dilemma of how to come out as gay, lesbian or some other important identity in the LGBTQ+ rainbow? Is religious shame and guilt making you feel horrible for what are actually normal sexual interests and desires? Is past trauma impacting your sexual health?
People from all walks of life have been coming to work with me on the sexual and relationship issues I describe above. In the past 13 years, I have dedicated my clinical focus in the areas of sex therapy and problematic sexual behavior. The good news is that together we can make a difference–you don’t have to face these challenges alone!
So, if you are tired of the negative results you are getting by avoiding your sexual challenges and you are ready to face your fears with courage, I invite you to reach out! Remember, your particular situation is likely unique, and I can take you beyond the limits of self-help!

Do you feel like there are so many things to manage and your forever-growing “to-do list” leaves you feeling completely overwhelmed? I work with women who have experienced tough stuff in their childhood and feel like they have lost their way. I would like first to welcome you to this interesting journey of getting to know yourself deeply and possibly understand the world around you.
First, I explore you, the problem you are facing, your environment, and your past to understand better what is going on. So, be aware, I will take some time on that. I especially want you to feel heard and understood first, to be in the same page before we move on to the next step. I was told to be very approachable and easy to talk to, even when I point out inconsistencies for us to gain broader insight into your situation.

Hello, my name is David Fallon and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been licensed for about 20 years. I've worked with all kinds of individuals. I started by working with kids with behavior issues. Mostly I have worked with serious mental illness on the streets serving unhoused individuals. And I have worked with people seeking help in a one on one therapy situation. The first session will be for us to get to know each other and see if this is a good fit. I will be asking a lot of questions. Feel free to ask me any questions that come up as well. I will tell you a little bit about how I work. In the early stages, I basically follow your lead. You tell me what you want to work on, and I ask questions to understand the problem. Together we figure out ways of dealing with these problems. Sometimes it takes more than one or two or even a dozen tries to find the right things that work for you. This process is a journey, and I am here to help guide you through it. I can make recommendations, but it is up to you what you want to do and what works for you. Sometimes difficult thoughts are feelings will come up. Do not be afraid to express them when they do as the more genuine and honest you are, the more I will understand what you are dealing with. That being said, always take things at your own pace. Never feel rushed or forced to say anything you are not ready to say.

As a therapist with a curiosity about what makes humans tick and my own struggles with mental health, I understand how one’s experiences shape our mental health and how we strive to have hope to cope. My own pursuit of healing and Chinese-American background has inspired me to combine culture with therapy, offering relatable care that embraces our brokenness and yet, finds strength in our weaknesses. I deeply enjoy having deep conversations about challenges like cross-cultural identity issues, anxiety, depression, and life transitions because I know how important it is to have an accepting professional that can offer an objective viewpoint with unconditional positive regard.

Hi there! I have been practicing therapy for thirteen years and still find so much joy in learning each persons unique story. Just a little about me: I graduated from University of the Pacific in 2011 with my BA in Psychology and Cal State Northridge with my MS in Counseling in 2013.
I saw my first client in 2012 and have worked in a variety of settings since then: on site elementary and middle schools, private practice, EAP, intensive outpatient programs, and residential treatment.
I am a down-to-earth and collaborative therapist who believes that the foundation of effective healing is a genuine, honest connection. I prioritize creating a transparent environment where you feel heard and respected, allowing us to work as true partners in your mental health journey. My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is most effective when it is practical, straightforward, and focused on your unique reality.
In our sessions, I value honesty and the identification of healthy, realistic goals. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where we work together to uncover the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying irrational thinking patterns and challenging negative self-talk, we can begin to reframe your narrative in a way that serves your growth rather than hindering it.
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a significant step, which is why I focus on providing a non-judgmental space where we can tackle challenges at your pace. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, daily stress, or life transitions, my goal is to provide you with a functional toolkit of strategies you can use long after our sessions end. Together, we will move toward a more balanced, resilient, and fulfilling life.
I have been privileged being a therapist for over 40 years. I have worked as a probation officer, child protection worker and directer of various treatment programs. I have also been in therapy which gives me a perspective of the the value of therapy as both a client and therapist. I enjoy working with folks in the recovery community, first responders and those who had traumatic childhoods. I respect the courage it takes to ask for help. I treat your courage with honor and dignity.
Finding the right therapist is often the most difficult step in the healing journey. It requires finding a balance between someone who deeply understands the science of the mind and someone who genuinely cares about the person sitting across from them. With 13 years of clinical practice, I have dedicated my career to being that balance for my clients.
My approach is rooted in the belief that while our pasts shape us, they do not have to define our future. I specialize in two of the most effective, evidence-based frameworks available today: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Through CBT, we work together to identify and reshape the thought patterns that keep you feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed. We look at the "why" behind your actions and replace old, automatic responses with intentional, healthy choices. Through DBT, I help you build a concrete toolkit for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Whether you are navigating intense emotional "storms" or simply looking to improve the quality of your relationships, these skills provide a roadmap for stability.
Over a decade of practice has taught me that there is no "one-size-fits-all" solution. I view our work as a collaborative partnership; you are the expert on your life, and I am here to provide the clinical expertise and objective perspective to help you navigate it. My goal is to move beyond just "venting" and toward tangible, lasting change.
I provide a non-judgmental, warm, and structured environment where you can feel safe to explore your vulnerabilities while being challenged to grow. Together, we won't just talk about the life you want—we will build the skills necessary to live it.

I began my work in community-based public mental health, serving underserved populations, and that foundation continues to shape how I show up today—with care, respect, and a real understanding of life’s complexities. My background includes working with severe mental illness, including schizophrenia spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma, so I’m comfortable supporting both early or emerging concerns and ongoing mental health conditions. I’ve worked extensively with low-income communities, immigrants, and individuals from diverse cultural and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds. I also have a strong background working with mothers, particularly single mothers, who are navigating their own mental health while supporting children or adult children with their own challenges. My approach is collaborative and strength-based—I focus on helping you build on what’s already working while developing practical tools you can use in your daily life. I aim to create a space that is calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where you can show up as you are, speak openly, and process what you’re going through while also building practical tools to better navigate everyday life.
