Hey there! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I’ve had the joy of working with individuals for the past 7 years. I specialize in helping individuals navigate life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, relational challenges, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. I genuinely believe in creating a warm and welcoming space where you can feel safe to share your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, enhance self-awareness, develop tools to overcome obstacles, develop coping strategies, and empower you to embrace the changes you want to see in your life. I believe every challenge is an opportunity for growth, and I'm excited to partner with you on your journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Let’s work together to uncover your strengths and help you be the best version of yourself!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll start by getting to know each other. I want you to feel comfortable! Once we’re settled in, we’ll gently dive into the specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me understand your unique experiences and dreams so we can create a plan together for our future sessions. I’m here to cheer you on and support you every step of the way as we work toward your goals!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I truly believe that my greatest strength as a provider is my ability to create a warm and welcoming environment where you feel safe to share your thoughts and feelings. I genuinely care about your journey and am dedicated to understanding your unique challenges and aspirations. Your experiences matter to me, and I’m here to support you with kindness and compassion every step of the way!

If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or self-esteem issues, or are going through a significant life transition, you’ve come to the right place! I’m here to offer you a warm, supportive space where you can freely explore your feelings and experiences. Together, we’ll uncover what’s been holding you back and discover new ways to cope. I’m genuinely passionate about helping you reconnect with your strengths and create a life that feels fulfilling and balanced.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to guide clients on their paths to healing and personal growth. In a safe space, we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings, identify distorted thinking patterns, and challenge negative beliefs through techniques like cognitive restructuring. I emphasize behavioral activation, encouraging you to engage in meaningful activities that align with your values to overcome anxiety and depression.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage intense emotions and improve relationships. Together, we explore the four core modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I guide clients in developing present-moment awareness, coping strategies for painful emotions, and assertive communication skills. By creating a collaborative environment, I empower clients to apply DBT skills in their daily lives, leading to greater emotional stability and healthier relationships.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing as a client-centered approach to boost motivation for change and empower clients in achieving their goals. I create a warm and empathetic environment where clients feel heard, allowing them to openly discuss their thoughts and feelings. I help clients explore their ambivalence about change, identifying their desires and barriers. I recognize their strengths and past successes with affirmations, fostering confidence in their ability to make positive changes. Together, we set achievable goals and develop actionable steps, creating a clear path forward that enhances motivation and instills hope for meaningful change.

Narrative

In my practice, I use a narrative approach to therapy, focusing on the stories we tell about our lives. This helps you explore and reshape your experiences, giving you a better understanding of yourself and your challenges. Together, we’ll reflect on the themes that emerge and how they shape your life. By highlighting your strengths, I’ll help you see new perspectives and possibilities for change. I encourage you to think about how you want your story to unfold and the steps you can take to get there. This approach empowers you to reclaim your story and create a more positive narrative as you work toward healing and personal growth.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

One of the key approaches I use is solution-focused therapy, which helps us focus on practical strategies and achievable goals. This method allows you to identify your strengths and resources, enabling you to find solutions and make positive changes.
