My treatment methods

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

It's a therapeutic approach that acknowledges and respects an individual's cultural background, values, and beliefs. It recognizes that everyone comes from different backgrounds and experiences, and that these can influence how they perceive and respond to therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT aims to help individuals identify and modify negative or unrealistic thoughts and beliefs, which in turn can lead to more positive emotions and behaviors. It's a pretty hands-on, practical approach to therapy, and often involves homework assignments, role-playing, and other techniques to help clients learn and practice new skills.

Interpersonal

Interpersonal therapy, or IPT, is a type of therapy that focuses on a person's relationships with others and how those relationships impact their mental health. The idea is that our relationships with other people can have a big impact on how we feel, and that by improving our communication and relationships, we can also improve our mental health.

Multicultural

Multicultural therapy aims to create a culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic environment, where clients feel safe and valued.

Suji is fantastic mental health therapist - she's always helping me see myself in a different light, or asks me questions that help unlock a new "aha" in my life. I've really enjoyed working with her and have learned so much about myself.
