Hello, I am a Certified Registered Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (CMNHP). I obtained my master's degree at Walden University with specialty in Mental Health, and I have been practicing for 3 years. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and seniors with mental health challenges ranging from ADHD, Anxiety, PTSD, Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Insomnia, and Bulimia, just to name a few. I provide adequate assessment and proper diagnosing of their symptoms, provision of counseling and medication management to maintain adequate livelihood functioning. I strive to maintain the highest level of professionalism while providing care. I communicate effectively to my clients by being an effective listener and treating others with compassion and respect no matter their cultural background or beliefs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, introductions between the client and provider is very important, and this will allow me to establish a Provider-Client relationship. I will allow you to explain how I can be of assistance towards your care. I will re-assure you on provision of optimal care by providing the utmost respect to all patients regardless of their ethnicity, socioeconomic strata, or sexuality.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, the strengths I possess are perseverance, patience, and compassion. My supervisors and co-workers describe me as hardworking, a great team player, and a good listener. I find strength in the assessment of my clients and arriving at a diagnosis to help manage their symptoms without prejudice.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work well with clients of all ages who are willing to improve themselves both in character and health-wise. Knowing yourself is the key to improving oneself and to be successful in life. I have always had a flair for helping and inspiring others, and this is one of the reasons I chose a career path in healthcare.
