New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with adults navigating stress, life transitions, and patterns in relationships they want to better understand. I work with a diverse range of clients, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals, and strive to create a space that feels inclusive, affirming, and supportive. I help clients gain clarity, deepen self-awareness, and develop practical tools to feel more grounded and balanced in daily life while creating meaningful, sustainable change.
Our first session is a space for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk through your current concerns, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to get out of our work together. I move at your pace, with no pressure to share more than you’re ready to. We’ll also start identifying goals and a direction for our work.
One of my greatest strengths is balancing insight with practical tools. I help clients better understand the patterns behind their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while also learning strategies they can use in everyday life. I strive to create a space that feels supportive, grounded, and collaborative, while offering gentle guidance that helps clients stay focused and make meaningful progress over time.
I work best with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by stress, navigating life transitions, experiencing low mood or lack of motivation, or wanting to better understand patterns in their relationships. My clients are often thoughtful and self-aware, but may feel stuck or unsure how to move forward. Together, we focus on building clarity, developing practical tools, and creating a greater sense of balance and stability in everyday life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work on developing more balanced thinking and practical strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and day-to-day challenges.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to support clients in managing emotions, improving communication, and navigating everyday stressors. I focus on practical tools that can be applied in real-life situations to build confidence and stability.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I take a person-centered approach, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I prioritize moving at each client’s pace, allowing space for whatever feels most important to explore in the moment. At the same time, I offer gentle guidance to help keep our work focused and aligned with your goals.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness-based practices to help clients build awareness of their thoughts and emotions in a supportive, nonjudgmental way. This can help create more space to respond thoughtfully rather than react automatically, while also reducing feelings of overwhelm and improving overall balance in day-to-day life.
