LMFT, 8 years of experience
Are you searching for meaning or clarity in your life? Feeling stuck in a transition, questioning your identity, or moving through an existential crisis? You’re not alone—and healing begins with awareness. I help people of all ages reconnect with their authentic selves by exploring the unconscious patterns that shape our thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Together, we uncover what no longer serves you and create space for new growth and purpose. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Doctoral Candidate at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I specialize in Depth Psychology and Integrative Healing Practices. My holistic approach honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and I believe every person already holds the wisdom needed for healing. My role is to walk beside you as a compassionate guide, helping you integrate insight into everyday life.
Our first session is about connection, curiosity, and creating a sense of safety. You’ll be invited to share what brings you to therapy—what feels present, what’s been difficult, and what you hope to understand or change. There’s no rush to have it all figured out. My role is to listen deeply, without judgment, and to begin mapping the emotional and symbolic landscape of your experience. We’ll talk about your history, relationships, and the patterns that may be asking for attention. I’ll also share how I work from a depth-oriented and transpersonal lens, integrating the psychological, embodied, and meaning-making dimensions of healing. Together, we’ll set intentions for our work—whether it’s gaining clarity, exploring identity, integrating transpersonal experiences, or developing new ways of relating to yourself and others. By the end of the session, most clients feel a sense of being seen and understood—perhaps for the first time in a long while. It’s the beginning of a collaborative journey toward greater authenticity, purpose, and wholeness.
As a depth-oriented psychotherapist, my greatest strength lies in helping clients explore the deeper layers of their psyche while honoring the wisdom of their lived experience. I bring an integrative lens that bridges psychology, culture, and meaning—inviting awareness of how the unconscious expresses itself through dreams, symbols, and relationships. My approach is both grounded and intuitive, shaped by my background as a Queer Latinx therapist of color who understands the impact of identity, culture, and systemic oppression on the soul’s journey. Clients often describe feeling deeply seen and understood in our work together. I hold a calm and compassionate presence, guiding individuals to uncover their innate capacity for healing, growth, and transformation. By attuning to the symbolic, emotional, and transpersonal dimensions of experience, I help clients move beyond symptom relief toward authenticity, integration, and wholeness.
My work is best suited for individuals seeking depth, meaning, and transformation rather than surface-level solutions. I work with adults and young adults navigating life transitions, identity exploration, and existential or transpersonal experiences that challenge their sense of self. I’m especially attuned to supporting Queer, questioning, and gender-expansive clients, as well as people of color who wish to heal from cultural or intergenerational trauma. Many of my clients describe feeling disconnected from their authenticity or creative vitality and are ready to explore the unconscious patterns shaping their lives. Whether integrating a powerful inner experience, working through depression or anxiety, or rediscovering a sense of purpose, I offer a safe and affirming space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the deeper currents of your own becoming.
An attachment-based approach looks at how our early attachments as children affect our current relationships as adults.
A narrative therapist understands how the past narratives we carry can greatly affect how we see the world in the present moment.
As a depth-psychotherapist, I integrate many holistic psychotherapeutic modalities such as: expressive arts, mindfulness techniques, sandplay, dream work/dream-tending, active imagination, somatic, archetypal, Indigenous wisdom, psychedelic integration...etc.
As a depth psychotherapist, I understand symptoms as the psyche’s way of communicating and seek to uncover what lies beneath the surface.
As a part of the LGBT+ community myself, I deeply understand the importance of gender-affirming care.

Working with Manny has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The way he connects issues to real-world examples and solutions makes it feel relatable and accessible. He fosters a judgement-free conversation that has helped me open up in more ways than I would imagine. He shows genuine care, attention to the smallest details, and always comes with a warm and consistent approach to our sessions. I’m always excited for the next session as we continue to work together.

He is a great person and connects with me on all aspects. This is huge for me because that gives him a huge understanding of my issues.

This therapist is amazing. I constantly tell people he is me but with a doctorate in psychology. I resonate so much with his through processes and how he guides me as an ADHD brown LGBTQ+ male. If everyone on earth were more like me, everyone should have a therapist like him. I couldn’t be more thankful for the things he has taught me about well-being and myself. I actually use most of the mental practices he teaches me and I look forward to working with him for as long as possible.
