Are you feeling stuck? My name is Arislady Sanchez. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am bilingual and speak both Spanish and English. I have over 15 years of experience providing mental health treatment and services for children, teens, adults, and families. I also attended The Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. I specialized in Health and Mental Health.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Clients can expect a warm, supportive, informative, culturally attuned, and non-judgemental first session. The main purpose of the first session is for the clinician and client to build trust and rapport. I will complete an intake and ask you questions in a gentle and supportive way. I will use this information to help guide my diagnosis and to collaboratively complete a comprehensive treatment plan.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My therapeutic approach is simple, real conversation in a safe, empathetic, collaborative, and non-judgmental space. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, work stressors, or just need someone to listen in a supportive way, I will be there to help guide you every step of the way.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I specialize in evidence based treatment such as cognitive behavioral therapy.
