You don’t have to struggle alone! I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive place to slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what you are carrying. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help clients gently explore the parts of themselves that may feel overwhelmed, stuck, protective, or hurt. My hope is that through our work together, clients feel less alone, more self-compassionate, and more able to move through life with greater clarity and ease. In our hectic world we often find ourselves afraid to take risks that could jeopardize the stable lives we have created for ourselves. We remain in jobs, relationships and old patterns that no longer work, while symptoms such as anxiety, depression, stress, anger and self-defeating patterns keep us from making real changes to our lives. If that sounds like you, you are stuck. We can feel lost and alone when we are unable to move forward, whether in work or a personal relationship. Therapy can help you break free of that and thrive. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a focus on teens, adults, and couples. I have worked with clients on concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family reunification. I received my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I also minored in sociology.
The first session is really about creating a space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood. We’ll explore what has been weighing on you, what support you’re needing, and what you hope might feel different through therapy. There is never any pressure to share more than feels comfortable. We will move at a pace that feels right for you. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brings you to therapy, and exploring what support you’re needing right now. You do not need to have everything figured out before you come in. I help clients begin to notice and understand the different parts of themselves with curiosity, compassion, and care. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, with the goal of helping you feel safe, supported, and understood from the start.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I help clients better understand the parts of themselves that may feel stuck, overwhelmed, self-critical, or protective, so they can respond to themselves with more clarity and compassion. Clients often gain deeper self-understanding, greater emotional balance, and a stronger sense of confidence in themselves and their relationships.
I’m especially well-suited to work with clients who are struggling with the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship distress, jealousy, and self-critical or protective patterns that no longer feel helpful. I’m especially well-suited for people who are open to exploring their inner world and want to build more self-compassion, emotional balance, and healthier relationships. This includes clients who may feel disconnected from themselves, easily overwhelmed, or impacted by past experiences that continue to shape how they feel, relate, and cope in the present.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I have been integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) into my practice for the past few years and have found it to be a powerful, compassionate way to support healing and change. I use IFS to help clients understand the parts of themselves that may feel protective, overwhelmed, self-critical, or wounded, so they can respond to themselves with greater clarity, compassion, and confidence.

Omar was nice and understanding. I had missed my initial consult. We were able to connect via phone. He listened to my situation and I look forward to working with him in the future.
