Life is full of transitions, and navigating them isn’t always easy but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m a therapist who works with teens and young adults to tackle anxiety, depression, and ADHD head-on. My approach is direct, client-centered, and infused with humor because therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. Together, we’ll build self-awareness, resilience, and real-world strategies to help you take charge of your life with confidence.
In our first session, clients can expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we start getting to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s brings you to therapy, what challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to get out of our work together. You can also ask me anything about my approach, what therapy with me looks like, or any concerns you have. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer idea of your goals and the next steps moving forward. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, understood, and confident that you're in a space where you can be yourself.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to connect with clients in a way that feels both supportive and authentic. I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by young adults, and an ability to break down complex issues into manageable steps.
My practice is best positioned to serve individuals ages 15 to 30 who are navigating the challenges of transitioning into adulthood. Many of my clients are dealing with mild anxiety and depression, or just feeling stuck as they figure out their next steps in life. Whether it’s stress from school, work, relationships, or just the pressure of “adulting,” my goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools to manage their mental health and build the life they want.
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.
