Mindy Zimmer
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Southern California, with a Master’s degree from Fordham University and more than 24 years of specialized experience. I provide statewide Telehealth services to adults navigating alcohol and drug use, as well as anxiety and depression.
I recognize that anyone can face difficult circumstances, and I am dedicated to supporting you in overcoming the challenges of addiction and the stigma that often accompanies it.
Addiction is a disease—not a definition of who you are—and it can be managed and put into remission. My approach honors your unique circumstances and addresses both substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.
First session
In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space. We’ll explore how you’ve been feeling lately, and I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences with addiction and how they’ve affected your life. This initial meeting is about building a meaningful connection and outlining a personalized path forward that fits your unique journey. I’m here to listen closely and guide our conversation in a way that feels right for you, helping you feel comfortable, heard, and empowered.
