I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in southern California I specialize in supporting adults who are struggling with alcohol, drug use, anxiety and depression If you’re feeling the pain of addiction and are ready to begin your journey to a new clean, and sober chapter in your life, I’m here to help every step of the way. Addiction is a disease, not a definition of your identity. It can be managed and put into remission, and you deserve the opportunity to reclaim your life. I recognize that anyone can face difficult circumstances, and I am dedicated to supporting you in overcoming the challenges of addiction and the stigma that often accompanies it. Additionally, depression and anxiety can be significant factors related to substance use and addiction. It's important to remember that addiction not only impacts you but also affects those around you. With a Master’s degree from Fordham University and over 22 years of specialized experience, I offer statewide Telehealth services to reach clients wherever they are. Many of my clients also face underlying mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. I work collaboratively with them to address both their substance use and mental health needs, empowering them to achieve lasting wellness. Let’s work together to navigate your journey towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, you can anticipate a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. We’ll focus on how you’ve been feeling lately, and I’ll ask thoughtful questions to gain a deeper understanding of your experiences with addiction and its impact on your life. This initial meeting is dedicated to building a meaningful connection and exploring a personalized path forward tailored to your unique journey. My role is to listen attentively and guide our discussions in a way that resonates with you, ensuring that you feel comfortable and empowered throughout the process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths in empathy, directness, humor, and uniqueness enhance my interactions and contributions. I connect deeply with others, fostering a supportive environment through a genuine understanding of their feelings. My clear and straightforward communication builds trust and ensures that our conversations are productive. I also incorporate humor to lighten the mood and create a relaxed atmosphere, making interactions enjoyable. Furthermore, my unique perspectives enable me to tackle challenges creatively, promoting innovative problem-solving. Together, these strengths help me cultivate collaboration and empower those around me.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I've found that my style and approach connect deeply with adults dealing with challenges like depression and anxiety, which can sometimes lead to substance use and addiction.
