I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in the State of New Jersey, as well as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and Psychiatric Rehabilitation from Kean University in 2013 and Master's of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2016.
Sessions range from 45-60 minutes, on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Your first appointment will be used to assess your needs by gathering information on your reasons for coming to counseling, as well as your past and current mental health history. After the assessment, together we will identify your needs and goals for counseling and develop a treatment plan with a selection of treatment modalities.
My mission is to provide the individuals I serve with a safe place to process their feelings and work through life challenges. My goal is to help individuals gain insight on how to improve their mental health by learning therapeutic skills to foster personal growth, independence, and healing.
I hold eight years of counseling experiencing working with children, adolescents, adults, groups, families, and persons living with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), or substance use disorders.
As a counselor, I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach, blending techniques from complementary counseling theories to provide an individualized counseling experience tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.
