Brainspotting is a therapy that helps process trauma and emotional pain by focusing on specific points in the visual field linked to intense feelings. This approach allows the brain to release stored tension and trauma, aiding in healing from issues like PTSD, anxiety, and unresolved trauma. I am well trained and have been using Brainspotting in my practice with all my client. Underlying trauma must be healed before true change takes place.

Self-compassion therapy helps individuals develop a kinder, more supportive attitude toward themselves, especially during difficult times. It focuses on three key elements: Self-Kindness: Treating oneself with care rather than harsh criticism. Common Humanity: Recognizing that suffering is a part of the human experience, not something to feel isolated about. Mindfulness: Observing difficult emotions without judgment, allowing for a balanced response. The therapy reduces anxiety, depression, and self-criticism, while promoting emotional resilience, self-worth, and well-being. Techniques include self-compassion breaks, loving-kindness meditation, journaling, and cognitive reframing. It’s particularly useful for individuals struggling with perfectionism or chronic self-criticism. I integrate Self-Compassion Therapy with all the work I do.
