My other areas of expertise include: Relationship conflicts, women's issues, trauma, creating healthy relationships, self-esteem and dealing with life's challenges. I wrote a book about conflicts and abuse in relationships and have helped many dealing with everyday life struggles to become their best version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is really an opportunity for me to get to know my client's story, their experiences and challenges and what has or has not worked in the past with therapy so we can create a plan together to develop treatment strategies and ways to process the issues.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Due to my extensive experience across a broad areas of challenges and issues I believe I bring wisdom and alternative ways of looking at these issues. Getting to know my client and build a strong rapport is very important to me.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I have worked with attachment styles for years dealing with anxious and avoidant attachment styles based on early childhood relationships and interpersonal relationships.

Christian Counseling

If someone requests Christian focused counseling I incorporate the spiritual component into therapy and how our thoughts impact our moods and focus.

Experiential Therapy

I use methods of visualization, gestalt, empty chair and other methods of experiential therapy with clients who benefit from this method for grief and loss, trauma, unhealed relationships and self-esteem. I also use CBT, mindfulness, gratitude, journaling and other forms of therapy as needed based on the client's objectives and their preferences and responses to treatment.
