Hi my name is Catherine Do you find it hard to focus, concentrate, or settle down? is it hard getting sleep? Too much going on in your mind ? Have you been struggling with getting up, going to work, or finding that the past is interfering with your present or future? I am here to help. I help my clients manage anxiety, ADHD, Depression, and Trauma. Together, we will identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole-person approach, addressing the needs of the mind, body, and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness, therapy, a holistic approach, as well as any medication that is needed to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. Whether you're dealing with feeling overwhelmed, relationship issues, or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking help can feel scary, but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hang-ups and habits holding you back. In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, build a rapport, and get to know each other as we build trust. This is also the time to collect data related to your health, history, and family health. We have to be able to trust before we know if you are willing to tell me more.
I am a nurse Practitioner licensed in Maryland and Washington. We work with clients with mood problems, depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma ADHD. I am currently accepting new patients and if I feel unable to be a good provider I have no problem referring you.

Integrative
We integrate therapy modality, medication, and supplements into our care treatment. Use of Evidence-based use of herbal and dietary supplements (e.g., Omega-3, Ashwagandha, L-Theanine, NAC, SAMe).
Motivational Interviewing
Skilled in combining pharmacotherapy with motivational interviewing (MI), contingency management, and relapse-prevention strategies.
Supportive
We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): for anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills: for emotion regulation and impulsivity. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): for chronic anxiety and comorbid addiction. Family Therapy / Psychoeducation: for systemic support and relapse prevention
