Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Bilingual and Bicultural therapist with over 10 years of experience. I've worked in a variety of setting, with diverse cultural groups and ages 5-65+ in my lifetime. I'm a Navy Veteran and Mother. It is my passion to serve you and your needs. At this time, I provide services only through virtual telehealth.
In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions and build rapport. I will ask questions to understand who you are, your strengths and goals, what you have experienced, what challenges you are facing, and together determine a plan tailored to you and your needs. As you know, meeting someone for the first time and sharing personal and private things can be difficult. My goal is to help you understand that you are in control, you can share as much or as little as you see necessary. We will work together in follow up sessions to address your concerns or issues.
As a provider with over 10 years of experience, over a variety of populations and settings. I would say my greatest strength is that I am an inclusive therapist who focuses on "Meeting people where they are at". My approach to therapy encompasses a variety of therapeutic skills and techniques, to best suit your needs. Therapy is not a "one size fits all". We are all unique, with innate strengths and needs.my greatest strength is treating my clients with the utmost respect and care.
I love working with children, adolescents, and their families. Each unique, with their own strengths. I love working with adolescents and young adults, still seeking to understand who they are and what they want to pursue in their life. I love working with adults who are seeking work life balance, "adulting", marriage and sense of self. Older adults perhaps seeking second careers, struggling with aging, life transitions, life after divorce, re-marriage, loss, grief, and dependent parent care. I serve anyone who is willing to work with me.

Thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all connected. Identify and correct distorted negative cognitions. Positive change occurs through altering dysfunctional thought patterns.
Early development impacts adult functioning. Insight into unconscious processes. Insight leads to awareness, understanding, conflict reduction, and interpersonal change.
Everyone has the capacity to grow, change, and adapt. Everyone is unique, whole, with strengths to understand and solve their problems, as they are the expert on themselves, resilient and able to overcome any adversity.
There is no one single "correct" way to live your life. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. Once you know what works do it more. If it doesn't work do something different. To include harm reduction, motivational interviewing, miracle questions, exception questions, and helping clients utilize strengths, and resources available to, overcome obstacles.
Everyone is the product for which they are raised and shaped by their own experiences. Each unique and their own. Despite systemic racism, biases, prejudice, we seek to treat everyone with respect, and kindness, seeking knowledge and understanding into the cultural differences of those around us, validating them, exploring them within the clients own cultural context.
