Prior to counseling I was a teacher. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we’ll start by getting to know each other and creating a comfortable space where you feel safe to share. I’ll ask some questions to understand your current situation, your background, and what brought you to therapy. This initial assessment helps me get a clear picture of your strengths, challenges, and any important experiences—like your childhood and recent life events—that influence how you feel and act today.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I feel that all the answers we need are within ourselves. Unlocking answers can present more challenging. Our early childhood experiences shape us and are the foundation of the values we hold and the decisions we make today. Our work will focus on helping you connect with your inner wisdom through open conversations, reflection, and mindful awareness, I’ll support you in uncovering deeper insights at your own pace. This journey is collaborative and compassionate, giving you the space and guidance to better understand yourself and make choices that feel authentic and meaningful.

My ideal client is someone who would benefits from a therapist with broad, practical experience and a compassionate, flexible approach that meets clients where they are, whether they are children, adults, or families dealing with complex life circumstances.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy can explore complex issues. It is a great way to uncover and understand unconscious conflicts. It can enhance self-awareness. I use a mix of various treatment methods including psychodynamic therapy to enhance self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, and enhance self-awareness. I find this method most effective for complex issues including chronic depression, personality disorders, and other interpersonal difficulties not otherwise able to be addressed by brief, and symptoms-focused therapies.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focused Therapy is best for goal-oriented and brief therapy. It's efficient, time-saving, and works well for practical problems. It's great for clients who want concrete and quick change focused on the future.

Humanistic

Humanistic therapy is ideal for individuals looking to grow emotionally and understand themselves better, to build a more fulfilling and authentic life. If you are feeling stuck, lacking purpose, wanting to explore self-identity, Humanistic therapy is a client-center approach focused on personal growth and self-actualization.
