Shannon Nardi

LPC, 16 years of experience

About me

I have worked for more than a decade in the mental health field, where I have excelled at assisting individuals whom desire change and healing. My approach to therapy is person-centered and solution-focused, focused on offering a kind, compassionate, yet straightforward approach to growth, which encourages individuals to think deeper and build connections that will assist them with a better understanding of the underlying issues. I believe in an integrative approach to exploring and treating the root causes to mental health symptoms, honing in on the mind body connection and somatic awareness and resolution.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session you can expect to help me understand your concerns, symptoms, and overall goals of treatment but also identify areas of strength and resilence.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

The client-therapist relationship is by far the most important aspect in which encourages internal growth and exploration and should be nurtured throughout the therapeutic process. "With this connection, the possibilities are endless." Taking the first step towards change is the hardest part. Working with me, you will allow yourself the space to be truly authentic, exploring and uncovering the intrinsic parts of you that motivate and nurture you in your healing, without judgement. "Holding space for individuals throughout their life journey is a privilege in which I hold very close."

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

The internally motivated client is the most ideal individual to serve, as they understand they are responsible in doing the work but acknowledge that they don't have to go through this process alone. Remember, you are the expert in your life.
