I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience across a wide range of healthcare settings — including psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health centers, and private clinics. I specialize in supporting adults navigating depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I genuinely love helping clients build a growth mindset and translate new skills into real, everyday life. My core belief is simple: every person already holds the strength and resilience to overcome what life throws at them — my role is to help you find and trust that power within yourself. I offer sessions in both English and Korean.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about connection. We'll take some time to get to know each other, talk through what's bringing you in, and identify the goals you'd like to work toward. I'll also walk you through my approach and treatment model so you have a clear picture of what our work together will look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My clients often tell me that one of the most valuable things they gain is a deeper understanding of the human mind — how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are all connected. That awareness becomes a turning point. When clients understand why they feel and react the way they do, making meaningful, positive changes starts to feel not just possible, but natural.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are ready to learn how to regulate their emotions, sharpen their problem-solving skills, and take intentional steps toward their life goals. If you're someone who values insight and wants practical tools to create real change, we'd be a great fit.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through the use of CBT model, therapist will help clients raise awareness of their own thought patterns, beliefs and value systems and how they affect emotions and behaviors. Therapist will then assist clients to develop a positive mindset that can help improving problem-solving and decision making in many aspects of their lives.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Through DBT model, therapist will help clients learn positive coping skills, such as mindfulness, acceptance, emotion regulation and distress tolerance. These skills will help clients minimize the harmful effects of their past experiences and pay more attention to the present moment. Practicing these coping skills can increase feelings of peace and joy in clients' daily life.
