As a dually board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, my priority is to help you restore your mental wellbeing, offering a safe and supportive environment. During our initial psychiatric evaluation session, you can expect a comprehensive and structured assessment aimed at understanding your physical, mental and emotional well-being. We’ll start by talking about your medical history, any previous diagnoses, medications, and your current symptoms. This information helps me understand your background. It's crucial to be honest and open during the session, as this will help me provide you with the most effective support and treatment.

I am recognized to help especially people suffering from anxiety disorders that include generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety disorder and separation anxiety disorder. I am also prepared to care for the mental wellbeing of patients suffering from chronic kidney disease, end stages of renal disease or on dialysis.

I have 5 years of experience with CBT. I will help you identify and challenge irrational beliefs, replacing them with more realistic and positive thoughts. Expect some homework assignments such as journaling and relaxation techniques that will empower you to take an active role in your treatment.
