Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Master from Bethel University and have been practicing for 15 years. I help adults and couples struggling in relationships at school, work, or home to be resilient and grow in person or relationship.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges that you are facing and goals that you would like to achieve in sessions to help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in following sessions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT explains of how our past experiences create unhelpful core beliefs which may negatively impacted on our thoughts/feelings, and ability to interpretate or perceive situations inaccurately in the here-and-now. I help clients to be aware of unhelpful thoughts/feelings/core believes, be kind to themselves, be able to take perspectives to their experiences, reframe the situations, identify helpful inner resources, apply assertive communication skills, and focus on problem solving to better quality of lives.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing assists clients to desensitize emotion or physical stress to distressing information experienced in the past by utilizing eye movements to help the integration of the information, so new information may be experienced which facilitate resilience and personal growth to better quality of lives.
