Hello! I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner based in New Jersey, with a master’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working in various capacities within the mental health field, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the challenges my patients face. My primary focus is helping adults who are struggling with depression and anxiety. I work collaboratively with my patients to find the most effective strategies for managing their symptoms, empowering them to become the best version of themselves.
During our first session together, we’ll begin with brief introductions to get to know each other. Then, we’ll dive into the specific challenges you’re currently facing. This initial conversation will help me understand your unique situation and needs, allowing me to create a tailored plan that we can work through in our follow-up sessions. My goal is to ensure that our work together is focused and effective, addressing the areas that are most important to you.
Having worked in the mental health field for 5 years, I consider my greatest strength to be empathy and a patient centered approach. Understanding that each individual is unique has allowed me the ability to develop a plan of care that focuses on what works best for each individual.
I thrive in working with individuals who are motivated in taking steps to manage their depression, anxiety or other mental health challenges, and are open to exploring different approaches to achieve lasting change.
I utilize supportive therapy to create a therapeutic environment that focuses on your immediate needs, emotional well-being and to offer ongoing support. My goal with this method is to establish a trusting relationship which encourages open communication. I also want to assist in strengthening your coping skills leading to your empowerment, and ability to set achievable goals.
