(she/her)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Masters from the University of Southern California and I've been practicing for 10 years. Whether you're navigating pregnancy, adjusting to life with a new baby, feeling disconnected in your relationship, or just trying to stay above water; I am here to help you breathe, unpack, heal, and feel empowered again.
Think of our first session together as a "getting to know you" conversation. I'll ask some questions about what's been going on, background and history questions, and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
I believe my strengths are that I am not here to "fix" you. I'm here to walk alongside you, hold space for your story, and help you make sense of what feels messy, overwhelming, or hard right now. Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen, and never judged in our work together. That's really important to me. I bring warmth, realness, and curiosity into each session. I'm not the type to sit silently and nod, you'll get honest feedback, gentle challenges when needed, and someone who is fully present with you. I also bring a deep understanding of the emotional and physical load many women and parents carry. If you're navigating motherhood, identity shifts, relationship stress, or just trying to keep it together, I'm here for it all.
I love working with first-time mothers who are in the prenatal stage of life. My clients are eager to talk to someone who gets it! They tend to be nervous or have mixed feelings about their birth, the changes that are happening in their bodies, or sometimes struggling with relationship issues. The often feel stuck, anxious, and needing a safe space to process their feelings.
I am certified in Stress and Mood CBT therapy. I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts that impact their emotions and behaviors. Together we explore patterns that may by keeping them stuck and develop practical strategies to shift those patterns. CBT allows us to break problems down into manageable parts, build coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I use person centered therapy to create a warm , nonjudgmental space where clients feel deeply heard and respected. I believe that each person has an innate ability to to grow and heal when provided with genuine empathy, unconditional positive regard and authenticity. By trusting the client's inner wisdom and focusing on their lived experience, I support them in finding their own answers and building a stronger sense of self.
