I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. I am certified in Advanced Trauma and trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I've worked in social services in NYC and NJ. I have over 14 years of experience. My experience ranges from working in Substance Abuse, Residential treatment for adults/children, Veterans, Child Welfare, Crisis Management, Medical Social Work, Mental Health counseling, and Psychotherapy.
In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions, and then discuss the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My greatest strength as a provider is making my clients feel comfortable. I create a safe space for them to express their raw emotions without feeling judged.
I enjoy working with individuals who are eager to improve their mental, emotional, and physical functioning but lack the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious about making changes.

I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice for over 10 years. CBT focuses on understanding the connection between a person’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I use CBT to better understand how my clients’ thought patterns influence their perceptions of themselves, others, and their lives. Together, we explore and challenge unhelpful or negative thought patterns and consider alternative, more balanced ways of thinking. This collaborative process helps clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts and identify healthier ways to respond to challenging situations.
