I have a combined 20 years of experience as a counselor/therapist in my field. I received my Masters degree in 2003 from California State University. I have spent most of my career guiding adolescents and adults through a variety of challenging life experiences that can impact a person emotionally and mentally. I have assisted clients in overcoming a variety of challenging situations by recognizing their inner strengths and learning to overcome lifelong fears and self-doubts. It is my mission to help you live the fullest life you can and say no to limiting self-criticisms. This is what inspires my practice. I draw from a variety of therapeutic models and theories because I know that there is no one size fits all approach to understanding you and your life experiences.
In our first session together, we’ll start with a brief introductions, review your motivation for seeking therapy, then dive into specific challenges, you’re facing. This will help me to create a plan for us to work through and future sessions together.

I have extensive experience working in both in-patient and outpatient treatment for depression, anxiety, substance abuse treatment, relationship issues, family conflict, grief and loss, and coping with phases of life changes.
