I get in the trenches with you offering education, validation, homework and sometimes supportive confrontation. I give my clients the utmost respect. I also like to use humor because laughter feels good, decreases defenses and aids in the learning process.
First session
On the first session, I take a detailed history. I'll ask lots of questions about your background, including childhood, parents, siblings, friends, school, partners, kids, experiences, etc.

Ideal clients
I work best with clients who are able to look honestly at themselves, who are willing to delve deeper into who they are, how they got to be this way and are able/willing to make adjustments in their long-standing behavior patterns, with loving support of course.
