Hello! My name is Jenni. I specialize in helping clients of all ages who are navigating a variety of challenges work toward their personal and professional goals and become the best versions of themselves. Therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable exploring challenges and building on your strengths. As your therapist, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
During our first session, we’ll begin with brief introductions so we can get to know each other. We’ll then talk about the challenges you’re currently facing and what brought you to therapy. This will help me better understand your situation and begin developing a personalized plan moving forward. We’ll also discuss your goals and what you hope to gain from therapy.
As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my patience and empathy. I take the time to truly listen to my clients, providing them with a safe and supportive environment where they can express themselves without judgment. My empathetic nature allows me to understand and connect with my clients on a deep level, helping them feel heard and valued. Additionally, I am dedicated to continuously learning and growing in my practice, ensuring that I provide the most effective and compassionate care possible.
My ideal clients include kids, adolescents, and adults navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or academic and career pressures. Starting therapy can feel uncertain, and many people come in simply wanting a safe space to talk and make sense of what they’re going through. I work best with clients who are open to reflecting on their experiences and working together toward meaningful change.

I utilize CBT to help my clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. This approach helps to identify and modify unhelpful thoughts and beliefs. By working together to challenge these negative thoughts, clients can develop healthier patterns of thinking and improve their emotional well-being.
Gottman method
I often incorporate techniques from the Gottman Method into my work to support communication, emotional awareness, conflict resolution, and relationship dynamics across a variety of settings. While commonly used in couples counseling, many of the tools can also be helpful in individual work, particularly when exploring interpersonal relationships, emotional regulation, boundaries, and patterns of communication. I use practical, evidence-based strategies to help clients better understand themselves and others, improve connection, navigate conflict more effectively, and build healthier relationship patterns overall.
Supportive
I utilize supportive therapy to help clients process stressors, navigate transitions, strengthen coping skills, and build emotional resilience. This approach focuses on providing encouragement, emotional support, insight, and practical strategies to help clients manage challenges and improve functioning.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I utilize EFT to help clients better understand emotions, strengthen attachment and connection in relationships, and improve communication patterns. EFT focuses on identifying underlying emotional needs and creating healthier ways of responding to conflict, stress, and interpersonal challenges.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I incorporate Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) techniques to help clients process traumatic experiences, develop coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and challenge unhelpful thought patterns related to trauma. This approach supports clients in reducing distress, while also building resilience and emotional stability.
