Hello, I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in California and I received my Master’s Degree at California State University, Stanislaus. I have been practicing for about five years and work with a diverse population. I help people who struggle with daily life stressors to adjust and learn how to not only improve their overall functioning but to maintain a stable and balanced lifestyle. I come from a spiritual background and will emphasize the importance of spirituality as an anchor in life.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
My clients can expect introductions, some rapport building of the therapeutic relationship and a discussion of current issues they are dealing with that negatively impact their functioning. This will guide the treatment goals and planning for future follow up appointments.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Attending to my clients by listening, validating and understanding them has been successful in my practice. I have found that building a trusting therapeutic relationship enables clients to feel safe and comfortable which leads to goal setting, recognizing strengths and overcoming challenges.

VirtualMy treatment methods
Adlerian
The importance of utilizing this treatment method is to first build a trusting therapeutic relationship. Followed by collaborating with the client to gain insight and self-awareness of their lifestyle and functional impairments. Finally through encouragement, goal setting and focusing on the client's strengths will the client learn how to better manage life stressors and improve their overall functioning.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have been using CBT in my practice for the past five years and it has helped many of my clients to challenge negative thoughts, reoccurring thoughts and false stories their minds have told them. CBT is beneficial to clients because it assists them with recognizing how their thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviors influence each other.
