Hi, I’m a psychiatrist nurse practitioner, board certified with 5 years of experience. I have worked with all ages of patients from teenagers to older adults in different settings. Anxiety, depression, mood disorder, anger management, spirituality, mindfulness are few of the many areas I can assist with by providing medication management as well as therapy. Approaching treatment as a whole person is key to my treatment plans.
You can expect to be treated fairly with compassion as we work together as a team. First session is our introduction session and uncovering the reasons you are seeking treatment at this time. We will go over your history related to mental health treatment and address the scores of your tests as well as the responses provided on your intake paperwork.
I will listen to you and your concerns and adapt your medication regiment to your specific needs.
I work with professional or non professional to find balance in their work and life by adequately adjusting their medication and providing support. I work with adult populations and also teenagers.

Our body is not a different entity than our mind but they are inter connected, that’s why we approach mental health treatment with the mind-body, holistic perspective.
Each of us has faced some type of trauma, which directly or indirectly affects our current mental state. Approaching mental health treatment, being mindful of history of trauma, makes provider and therapist more sensitive and compassionate to mental health treatment.

Dr Lawson was very compassionate and professional, and even helped me with making new connections for therapy, so I am very thankful for his time. I feel uplifted after our session.

Very easy to talk to and very understanding. He was able to put together what I was saying and hone in on the important stuff by asking a few simple questions. Praise the Lord for bringing this provider into my life!
