I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience helping people navigate the hard stuff — anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the weight of expectations. I’m licensed in Georgia, Indiana, and California, and I work with adults of all ages, including college students, veterans, and women who find themselves feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe in creating a space where you feel seen and heard — but also gently challenged. Together, we’ll look at what’s underneath your stress, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, and explore strategies that move you toward clarity and calm. My approach blends CBT and mindfulness, and I also have training in Brainspotting. This can be especially healing for trauma, anxiety, and grief. As a Black woman and a therapist, I understand how personal, cultural, and systemic stressors can collide. I hold space for that complexity. Whether you’re navigating a loss, a shift in identity, or just feeling emotionally exhausted, I’m here to support your process — not rush it. Let’s work together to make sense of what you’re carrying and find your way forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I take a solution-focused approach, helping you get to the root of what’s going on and identify steps toward relief and clarity. In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other—I'll ask questions to understand your history, your current concerns, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. From there, we’ll work together to create a plan that feels doable and aligned with your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes my approach unique is the balance I bring between warmth and directness. I aim to create a space where you feel supported and truly heard—but also gently challenged to explore patterns and perspectives that may be holding you back. I draw from CBT and mindfulness to offer practical tools you can apply in everyday life, and I also use Brainspotting to help access and process deeper emotional experiences that may be stored in the body. This combination allows us to work both on the surface and beneath it, depending on your needs.
