Let's navigate life together. I have experience in helping clients with anger management, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, depression, & coping with life changes. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I use an eclectic approach with several research-based interventions including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. This is done to meet my clients where they are and to grow from there. I received my B.A. in Psychology and Pan-African Studies from Kent State University in 2003. I then went on to complete a Master of Education in Community Agency Counseling at Cleveland State University. Hi, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of social work and mental health experience. I utilize evidence-based therapy models focused on my clients' strengths, abilities, and unique life experiences in efforts to improve quality of life and restore overall health and wellness. I greatly enjoy my work with clients and the reward in my work is seeing clients succeed and overcome life's challenges.
My clients have laughed, cried, practiced new things, and worked very, very hard. The only thing I ask, as a therapist, is to have hope and do the work. Each client is a functioning part of a larger whole that wants to stay the same. I see no sense in blaming a person for situations they did not create; it's what each person does that counts.

My name is Michael Starr, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I believe therapy is more than just problem-solving, it’s a place to rediscover who you are, heal what’s been hidden, and move forward with clarity and strength. I work with individuals, couples, and families facing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity questions, and emotional overwhelm.
My style is honest, grounded, and deeply respectful of the human experience. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused CBT, but I also hold space for what cannot always be explained, your story, your meaning, your growth.
Clients often come to me feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we uncover the patterns keeping you there and build the insight, skills, and resilience to move through them. You won’t be rushed or judged. You’ll be heard, supported, and challenged when needed.
You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to be willing to start. Healing begins with one honest conversation, and I’m here to take that step with you.
Hi, I’m Aaron Saez, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. My name is Amber. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Ohio. My role is to empower you on this journey of self-actualization. I bring authenticity, warmth, and a solution-oriented approach. We will be working side by side to identify your goals, values, and strengths. From there, we will process past experiences to help you move on to becoming your best self. I have been helping clients achieve their goals for the past several years. These clients range from the age of one-year-old to over fifty-years-old. About 60% of my clients are 12 and under. In working with younger children, I have had the most success using telehealth when parents are present to monitor, arrange a predictable environment, and assist with any technical issues. In working with younger children, the parents’ role is vital. I work as a team with parents and caregivers to build a healthy relationship and find the appropriate strengths-based parenting strategies for the child. Recommended parenting techniques are largely based on the Conscious Discipline model which encourages mindful parenting. With younger children, the parents’ cooperation is imperative to reach desired behavioral goals. I also draw from the approaches outlined in Working with Challenging Youth by Brent Richardson, Ed.D.
I have been licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 2004, and have held a supervision designation since 2015. I have also held a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a supervision/training designation license since 2018. I have maintained a private counseling practice in Chillicothe since 2000, and I continue to work with individuals and families in that capacity. I have dedicated my career to helping others and to working with the community to ensure the well-being of families and children.
My most common theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Christian Therapy, but I am proud to be able to use a multitude of approaches, dependent on what works best for the client(s) involved.
I value the individual and the couple regardless of age or philosophical approach to their life or relationship. I see my goal of treatment as improving the individual or couple to be the best they want to be.
My communication tone or approach tends to be direct but laid back. We are in session to work together, not have me tell you what to do or where you need to go.

Hi! My name is Jana! Thank you for reading my profile :) I want you to know a little about me so you can decide if you'd like to schedule with me. I am licensed in Ohio and I have been a Therapist for over 10 years. I have been doing teletherapy for quite awhile now and I much prefer it to in-office settings. I am a mother to 3 wild kiddos, I live in the country and I [try to] make friends with feral cats. I am very chatty, I enjoy getting to know the people that I am working with. I have a lot of experience in several areas: domestic violence, narcissism, autism, intellectual disabilities, adhd, depression, pregnancy loss, anxiety, parenting issues, life changes, bullying, etc. I like a natural conversation style in sessions so it is as comfortable as possible! FYI: I'm not currently accepting couples and I don't write recommendation letters for ESA/service animals due to the potential liability.
Tanisha Richardson is devoted to those who want to improve their mental health. She supports and guides individuals who are facing mental anguish. The therapeutic process is an intimate process to go through as we share sensitive information. It is my goal to build a great comfortable relationship with you.
Therapy for Women Ready to Find Their Voice Again
I work with women 35+ who have spent years being the understanding one, peacekeeper, over-giver, or caretaker while quietly wondering, “When do I get to matter?”
My work centers on childhood trauma, family-of-origin wounds, generational trauma, estrangement, emotional neglect, sexual abuse and molestation, anger, resentment, and painful relationship patterns, including covert narcissistic dynamics, manipulation, chronic invalidation, and relationships where you continually give while others take.
My approach is more yin than yang. I’m not a traditional talk therapist who focuses on challenging your thoughts, debating your perspective, or assigning homework. My work is intuitive, experiential, relational, and trauma-informed, creating space to slow down, listen to your body, and reconnect with your inner knowing.
I especially welcome deeply spiritual, intuitive, energetically sensitive women who want their spirituality honored in therapy.
You don’t have to silence yourself anymore.
I am a dual-licensed clinical mental health counselor and independent chemical dependency counselor with 10 years of clinical experience, and I am nationally certified by the NBCC. My work is grounded in more than 20 years of service to diverse communities, and I bring a warm, steady, and compassionate presence to every session.
My therapeutic style is eclectic, but rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy. I specialize in anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and addictions, and I help clients understand the patterns that shape their lives so they can build new ones with intention and confidence.
Clients often describe me as direct yet deeply supportive — someone who can challenge them while also creating a space where they feel genuinely seen. I believe growth is a collaborative process, and I am committed to helping you become the strongest, most grounded version of yourself.
If you’re ready to move forward with clarity and support, I’m here to walk that path with you.
Starting therapy can be hard work, but it doesn't have to be. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. I take a person-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. Please feel welcome to reach out whenever you feel ready to begin. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself.
