I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and earned my counseling degree from John Carroll University. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. My background in both counseling and nursing has shaped my understanding of the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space while helping clients recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change.

Some styles include cognitive behavioral, strength based, motivational, and trauma focused work.

First session

In our first session together we will get to know one another, discuss therapy goals and what future sessions would look like.

Strengths

My counseling style is warm, empathetic, and client-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life, experiences, and story. My role as your therapist is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we can work together to better understand your concerns, recognize your strengths, and identify meaningful goals for change. I understand that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs and where you are in your journey. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that feels realistic, supportive, and meaningful to you. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strength-based approaches, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused interventions. Above all, my goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and actively involved throughout the therapeutic process.

Ideal clients

Throughout life, many of us will experience some sort of emotional issue. Some we can handle on our own, and others we may want to explore on a deeper level with a specialist. I look forward to working with those who are brave enough to face these issues head on, and to explore some of the underlying reasons why these issues have manifested.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is used to help clients identify and change thinking and behavior patterns that cause distress.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is based off of the clients motivations. I am here as a therapist to listen with empathy, support , and empower you.
