Hello, I'm Tracey.
"Relationships often die not because of conversations that were had but rather conversations that were never had," (Lysa Terkeurst).
Communication is the #1 most reported reason for couples to enter therapy. It is the "appropriate" way of saying, "he doesn't listen to me," and "all she wants to do is talk and talk, {nag}" or giving each other what I refer to as the "non-verbal abuse" {silent treatment}. It means I don't know my partner, or we can't talk without fighting. Yet almost every couple starts off communicating at some level. I mean, come on--you and your partner would not be a couple if the first date involved playing the "Staring contest" where the first one to blink loses.
What we fail to recognize is that Communication is a form of Intimacy. And all other forms on intimacy hinge on protecting the communicative intimacy. So, what is that and how do I get some before we leave each other?
Communicative intimacy refers to the deep emotional and relational closeness that develops through communication, where individuals feel understood, valued, and connected on a personal level. It is both a feeling and a process shaped by how people interact, listen, and respond to each other. It involves an aligned commitment to taking care of it and protecting it. So, time's a wasting and you both are out of options. You both need to commit to starting this before you commit to ending.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to collecting evidenced based "tools for my toolbox" to aid those grappling with finding the new normal after their world has shifted. I most love helping people find language to describe their losses, often when there has been difficulty finding the words, inspiring people to find hope again, and facilitate the development of a plan to move forward in a way that both honors their experiences and embraces the future.
I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. I strongly believe that rock bottom is the foundation upon which we can rebuild our lives. We do regular check-ins to review progress along the way. Our goal is not to change the past, but instead to find some relief from symptoms that impact daily functioning. I will solicit feedback regularly during sessions for takeaways to gauge progress and curate treatment interventions based on what is most engaging and productive for the individual client.
Hi I’m Gina!
Do you know that everyone feels overwhelmed from time to time?
Balancing the demands of life, family, and work can be challenging. I have PhD and MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am a highly trained therapist with experience helping people recover and achieve their personal and professional goals. My approach is filtered through a diverse lens that views all clients as having the ability to work through challenges. Sometimes all you need is a little help to move forward.
Building upon your strengths and past coping mechanisms will help you develop better ways of managing stress and conflict. There are many interventions such as meditation, cognitive behavioral, family systems and solution focused therapy that can be used to tackle the issues affecting your emotional wellbeing.
I know seeking therapy can feel scary, but you are making the right decision. Contact me today so we can discuss how therapy can help you.
Do you find yourself feeling irritable or moody? Do you feel overwhelmed with daily expectations and responsibilities? These feelings can be a sign of depression and/or anxiety. I can help you through these difficult emotions. Together we can help you gain self-confidence and improve your life. Often it is difficult to know where to start. I teach strategies to help manage your symptoms. I have experience helping clients build and maintain relationships, with those struggling to find purpose or meaning in their life, with grief, and trauma. Additionally, if you are struggling with infertility, miscarriage or loss, or postpartum depression this is my niche.
I have over 20 years of experience with child welfare, healthcare, maternal child health, postpartum, antepartum, neonatal, addiction medicine, and school/behavioral issues.
My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space with use of respect, compassion, empathy, hope, and a bit of humor.
I offer collaborative, dynamic tele-counseling services for men struggling with anger and resentment, as well as couples navigating conflict in their relationships.
I also provide individual counseling for men and women seeking an existentially focused grief-healing process following the loss of a loved one or a significant life setback caused by a broken connection or relationship.
My approach is straightforward & practical: helping men & their partners manage stress, repair trust, rebuild dreams and heal after broken connections, resolve conflict, communicate in healthier and more effective ways, and tackle real-life problems that matter most by creating strategies then implementing action plans.
No jargon. No fluff. Just straight talk and practical strategies—delivered with humor, candor, and the hard-earned insight of a guy who calls himself a "Frequent Flyer to Hell and Back".
My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and I'm a board-certified Psychotherapist. I attended St Joseph College. I'm happy to help you today with any of your concerns. I enjoy empowering people and digging out their strengths. I don't ask fish to fly, neither do I ask birds to swim. I respect everyone's strengths and help my client recognize them. I love to highlight my client's strengths. I offer a safe, warm, therapeutic, judgment-free space for Adults (18+) and Older Adults (65+). I am sorry, but I do not accept clients who pay in cash. Also, every late cancellation or no-show accrues a late charge fee.
It is my ethical duty to officially terminate our therapeutic relationship when it is reasonably clear that the client is no longer beneficent, services are no longer required, counseling no longer serves the client's needs and interests, or Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT limits do not allow the provision of further counseling services.
It is the policy of Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, that our professional relationship will be terminated after a one-month consistent lapse of meeting with a client. Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, will attempt to notify you of this change in status as soon as possible after one month. My ethical duty is identifying, being available, and caring for current clients. It could feel awkward for our relationship to end, yet it is not meant to be discourteous in any way. I do not complete disability forms (Social Security, work excuse, FMLA, Court papers/legal papers, emotional support letters, etc).
NO COUPLE THERAPY OR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, PLEASE!

Hey, I’m Jeannuel
I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m a therapist, but more importantly, I’m someone who deeply values human connection, honesty, and showing up authentically. I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and real — not intimidating or overly clinical.
I’m warm, down-to-earth, and optimistic by nature. I value laughter when it fits, honesty even when things feel messy, and creating a space where you don’t have to pretend to have it all together. I believe healing happens when people feel truly seen and supported — not judged or rushed. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s story.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who appreciates balance, reflection, and growth. I care deeply about helping people reconnect with themselves and trust their inner voice again , or even discover it for the first time.
If you’re looking for a therapist who shows up as a real person and creates space for you to be one too, you’re in the right place.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience helping thoughtful adults navigate transitions, burnout, and career shifts.
