Are you struggling with a life change? Are you feeling stuck and needing a helping hand to move things forward?
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW), I take pride in working with people towards wellness. As life challenges can contribute to anxiety and depression, you need to know that you are not alone.
Emotional wellness is a part of everyone's life, and we all may benefit from help from time to time.
I haven't taken the traditional route to get here, but I am so thrilled to be doing the work I love. With a background in journalism and secondary education, I bring a unique, grounded perspective to therapy.
As a licensed therapist with over five years of experience, I consider myself a lifelong learner. Being a mom and a former middle school teacher has given me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges faced by both adults and teenagers alike.
My approach is far from one-size-fits-all. Instead, I strive to make our sessions feel like you're having a comfortable chat with a trusted friend—one who just happens to drop some valuable insight along the way. Watching clients grow into happier versions of themselves and celebrating their successes is the most rewarding part of my work.
A quick note for telehealth clients: Pets are one of my favorite parts of working from home! You might occasionally hear or see my pets during our sessions, and your animals are always welcome to join in, too.

Hello! I'm Jennifer and I am a 53 y/o Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor based in Chicago, IL (cis/het.) I opt out of the AI transcription/support where I can. I have worked in community mental health (13+ years) and as a private therapist (4 years) totaling 17 years in the field. I have experience with significant mental illness, trauma (esp. sexual and domestic violence recovery), and life transitions (finishing college, relationship changes, menopause, etc.) I work with individuals (teens and adults) and couples. I am an accredited trauma therapist (APT) and I am trained in Narrative Therapy. Additionally, I am a "nerd" therapist. I want to hear about what you read, watch, play, etc. We can talk about cosplay and conventions and the like. I like to draw parallels between real life challenges and the stories that we read in books and see on TV and movies (you can expect me to mention the following: INSIDE OUT, ENCANTO, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, X-FILES, STAR WARS, STAR TREK, DOCTOR WHO, the MCU, etc, as well as the whole hero’s journey that we all take.) And I want to hear what stories keep you inspired and motivated. I want to know what you enjoy and feel passionate about. Our primary focus will be on what has brought you to therapy and what you want to work on but I know that there are many paths to these goals. As Tolkien said, “Not all who wander are lost.” So, we might wander a bit but we will wander together.
At some point, during our virtual session, you will probably see one or both of my cats and your pets are welcome as well. Trans/queer friendly and welcoming.

I am a licensed mental health and addiction counselor with a background in the psychobiology of addiction and a strong focus on helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change. My work blends evidence-based therapy with a trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware approach, recognizing that healing often involves more than insight alone.
I am Level 1 Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and use parts-based work to help clients understand internal patterns with curiosity and compassion rather than self-judgment. I am also a Certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Rest & Restore Protocol provider through Unyte Listening Therapies, offering listening-based interventions that support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and a greater sense of safety and connection—particularly for individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress.

Hi, I am Jenn, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the owner of Epijennetics Counseling and Consulting in Libertyville, Illinois.. You can read more about my work and practice at www.epijennetics.com. As a therapist, I hold the belief that we cannot fully understand mental health without first understanding the impact of our stories, our relationships, and our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. I am passionate about helping clients increase their self-awareness of these things so that they are more in touch with their feelings, needs, and desires, and are more equipped with the knowledge and tools to create the life that they want. By utilizing assessments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to better understand personality and the Young Schema Assessment to explore harmful thoughts and beliefs that came from previous experiences and messages received during childhood years, I help clients discover hidden obstacles that keep them from having the life they dream of. I have found that when we put in the work to make sense of ourselves and our stories, we not only heal and grow ourselves but also develop more compassion and increased understanding of others. Often this growth and healing process lessens mental health symptoms such as anxiety and depression and improves overall quality of life, as well as relationship quality. If you are interested in doing some exploring, I would love to hear from you! (Please make an in-office appointment if you are booking Couple or Family therapy sessions.)

My background is in psychotherapy and wellness instruction! Helping others set health goals, inspire change, and conquer their emotional challenges is a vital part of my focus. I have a graduate degree in both counseling and health and have been providing therapy to men and women of a variety of ages for many years. I have practiced within an agency and with online platforms. Observing clients build the courage to make changes, walk away from unhelpful patterns and take a new path has been a rewarding part of my career!
I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.
I am a quirky and challenging therapist who graduated from Northwestern University with a Masters in Counseling Psychology in 2014. Having worked extensively in partial hospitalization, therapeutic schools and private practice settings, I combine practical skill based solutions to increase emotional regulation alongside relational work to reshape the past.

Hello there!
Do you ever feel as though your life is a million-piece puzzle? Or feel as though your family or partner does not understand you. Life can be complicated; however, your mind does not constantly have to be.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Illinois. I have worked in the mental health field for seventeen years in both hospital and outpatient settings. This experience includes work in direct patient care, program development, and in hospital administration in a clinical director role.
I also have taught coursework in psychology and human development in a university setting, and worked in an administrative capacity in secondary education in the state of Illinois. My educational background includes a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. My clinical approach brings behavioral intervention and education together in a clinical setting. I enjoy using psychoeducation as a foundation for treatment. That means I like to focus on educating the patient on their symptoms/diagnosis so we can collaborate on a treatment plan that they understand and makes sense for their life circumstance. If people understand why they experience the symptoms they have and how their body responds to stressors; it can give them the insight necessary to build skills to cope in a healthy and effective way.
Hi, I’m Tianna! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who is naturally empathetic and genuinely enjoys helping people feel heard, understood, and supported. My personality is warm, down-to-earth, and relatable, and I believe therapy can include both meaningful conversations and moments of humor.
I work with teens and adults who may be navigating anxiety, overwhelming emotions, overthinking, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, school or work stress, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and practical—I’ll meet you where you are while also helping you recognize your strengths, understand patterns, and develop tools you can use in everyday life.
I know opening up to someone new can feel uncomfortable, so I focus on creating a space where you can show up as yourself without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. Therapy with me isn’t about being told what to do; it’s about working together to help you better understand yourself, build confidence, and make changes that feel meaningful to you.

Hello! I am a Christian Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based out of Central Illinois. Life is a journey, and as with all journeys there are ups and downs, struggles and hardships. I am here to help you manage the journey of life. When you feel stuck, I am here to help you get back up and on your way again. Through a Christian lens, I will help you find peace in life.
Do you feel stuck in a pattern that is negatively impacting your overall wellness?
Just as important as the "why" is the "what" aspect of the mind. What we think, what we feel and what we believe are all intertwined with our behavior. Exploring the thoughts and beliefs that underpin certain actions can lead to profound self-awareness and personal growth. In my interactions with clients, I have witnessed the transformative power of uncovering and challenging deep-seated beliefs that no longer serve them.
While patterns and commonalities may emerge among individuals, it is crucial to remember that each person's mind is a unique landscape. What works for one may not work for another, and it is my duty as a clinician to adapt the plan of care accordingly. As a therapist and health coach, I incorporate a holistic (mind/body) approach.
Hello! My name is Amaris, and I’m glad you’re here :)
Do you ever feel like you’re carrying more than your share — emotionally, mentally, or relationally? Do you find yourself doubting your needs, overthinking decisions, or feeling responsible for everyone else’s wellbeing? Many women move through the world with expectations and pressures that shape how they show up. My work focuses on helping women understand the “why” behind their emotions and behaviors so they can move through life with more clarity, confidence, and self‑trust.
Sometimes personal growth means recognizing that you’re either going to deal with your stuff, or your stuff is going to deal with you. Therapy is a powerful place to begin that process.
Navigating adulthood is hard. If you are finding yourself overwhelmed with stress and pressure from a life transition, relationships, your job, school, etc. or feel lost in figuring out who you are or who you want to be, I'm here to help. I will meet you where you are in your journey of adolescence, young adulthood and beyond and provide support and tools to cope with challenges, improve relationships, reframe your thoughts, and practice consistent self-care.
I am a client centered therapist/psychologist with 13+ years of experience working with couples and individuals age 18 and older. My schedule is generally Monday through Thursday from 9-5 PT and Friday from 9-3 PT. You can expect me to be empathic and understanding of your concerns, without judgment. I won't be telling you how to live your life or giving you advice you haven't asked for. If you want advice, please don't hesitate to ask. I will do my best. I work with you to help you gain insight into what is bothering you. Together we can help find new ways of understanding yourself (self-empathy) and discover/change how you are looking at the world around you. We can work to relieve symptoms of depression and anxiety. My goal is to eventually have you be able to better handle feelings and emotions and live a happier more fulfilled life without me being there to help. What are your goals? What would you like to work on with me?
You deserve an opportunity to feel supported by having your thoughts and feelings be acknowledged. Throughout the course of life, we may experience mental health challenges that arise unexpectedly. Allow yourself to heal from those challenges and grow towards the future with the support that therapy provides.

You'll work with someone who has seen a lot, judges nothing, and genuinely believes in your capacity to heal.
