As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Doctor of Natural and Bioenergetic Medicine, I have dedicated my career to understanding the profound dialogue between the mind and the body. In my years of clinical practice, I began to see a recurring pattern: traditional psychotherapy is powerful, but it often reaches a ceiling when the body’s "biological battery" is depleted. I realized that to truly help my clients heal from the inside out, I needed to bridge the gap between psychological processing and the body’s subtle energy systems. My approach is built on the premise that your life experiences—your joys, traumas, and daily stressors—do not just live in your memory; they live in your cells and your energetic field. By integrating my clinical LPC background with my doctoral training in bioenergetic medicine, I offer a unique, 360-degree therapeutic experience. We don't just talk about the obstacles in your life; we work to shift the underlying energetic and physiological patterns that keep those obstacles in place. Whether you are navigating the heavy fog of depression, the constant hum of anxiety, or the complexities of unresolved trauma, my practice is informed by a deep understanding of human bioenergetics. This allows us to look beyond surface-level symptoms to explore how your environment, your lifestyle, and your body’s unique energy pathways are impacting your emotional resilience. My mission is to guide you toward "Integrated Health"—a state where your mind is clear, your nervous system is regulated, and your spirit is fully aligned.

Welcome. I work with adults who feel weighed down by sadness, stress, or disconnection—even if they can’t always explain why. Many of the people I support are parents who want to show up with patience and love for their children but find themselves triggered by old wounds or past patterns. Together, we explore what it means to care for both the child in front of you and the child within you. My approach is somatic and creative, weaving in body awareness, journaling, expressive arts, nature, and reading books. If you’re seeking healing from attachment wounds, longing to feel lighter, or simply hoping to feel more at home in your own skin, therapy can offer the safe space to begin.

You can understand exactly why you keep doing something and still feel completely stuck in it. With 20 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with adults who are tired of repeating patterns that no longer work for them. My style is active, relational, practical, and conversational. We look beyond what happened to what keeps happening—what activates the pattern, what keeps it going, and where we can actually interrupt it. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, serious illness, major life transitions, and burnout from carrying too much for too long. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming of diverse identities, sexualities, and non-traditional relationship structures. I’m genuinely open-minded about how people build relationships and live their lives. You’re unlikely to shock me, and vanilla is certainly not a requirement for admission. You don’t have to clean yourself up for therapy. Bring the contradictions, questionable decisions, weird relationship dynamics, dark humor, 47 tabs of self-help information, and the thing you’re pretty sure will make me judge you. I probably won’t. My approach is integrative, drawing from CBT, motivational interviewing, attachment-based work, somatic and nervous-system awareness, mindfulness, behavioral strategies, and psychoeducation. I’m endlessly curious about what makes people tick, and I translate therapy concepts into normal language. I’m warm and supportive, but I’m not a therapist who just nods and agrees with everything you say. I’ll believe you about your experience while sometimes lovingly questioning the story your brain has built around it. I’ll notice patterns, contradictions, play devil’s advocate, and help turn insight into something useful outside the therapy room. We’ll probably laugh in therapy, sometimes about things that objectively aren’t funny. Humans are weird. Therapeutic fit matters enormously to me, and I have no ego about being the right therapist for everyone.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor in the state of Colorado. I received my Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2017. After completing my Master’s Degree, I spent almost six years working with criminal justice involved clients - from substance abuse to domestic violence offenders. While I learned a lot doing that work, and it was extremely fulfilling to service victims and offenders, I decided to pursue working for myself within the private practice setting. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral techniques in my sessions, as well as being trained in Brainspotting for trauma specific treatment. I strongly believe in the connection between physical health and mental health, and do my best to focus on both aspects with the clients I see. I feel fortunate to be able to hear and share in other's stories and be a part of their journey to wellness.

Hi, I’m Josh Burke, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy across, Colorado, New York and Vermont. I’ve spent over 12 years working with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and major life transitions. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. Because of that, I place a strong emphasis on building a genuine, trusting relationship from the start—one where you feel supported, understood, and able to be honest about what you’re going through. My approach is both relational and goal-oriented. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which means we won’t just talk about what’s wrong—we’ll also focus on what matters to you and how to move toward it in practical, meaningful ways. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or navigating a significant transition, our work will center on helping you better understand your experience, develop new ways of responding to stress, and take steps toward the life you want to live. I tailor therapy to each person, recognizing that no two paths forward look the same. I believe change is possible—even when things feel difficult—and I aim to walk alongside you in a way that feels collaborative, grounded, and forward-moving.

Hi! I am Laura and I provide a compassionate, supportive space for individuals navigating life’s challenges, trauma, or anxiety. I work with clients who want to better understand themselves, manage overwhelming emotions, and develop practical strategies for coping and growth. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s experiences. I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore feelings at their own pace. Many of the people I work with feel stuck or uncertain about how past experiences affect their present lives. I help them build insight, self-compassion, and resilience while guiding them toward their personal goals. While my focus is on individual work, I also address the impact of relationships on well-being, helping clients navigate interpersonal challenges when they arise. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, depression, relationship stress, and major life transitions. My goal is to provide a supportive, thoughtful space where you can slow down, gain clarity, and begin making changes that help you feel more confident in yourself and your relationships. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My role as a therapist is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and move toward the life you want to create. I work with individual adults in Colorado and Hawaii who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship changes, infertility, career decisions, stress, or simply feeling stuck. Sometimes clients come to therapy because of a specific event, while others have a general sense that something isn't working anymore. Wherever you're starting, we'll work together to identify your strengths, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools for lasting change. My approach combines evidence-based psychotherapy with a whole-person perspective. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered counseling while tailoring each session to your individual needs and goals. I believe emotional wellness is influenced by every part of our lives, and therapy should honor the unique experiences, values, and strengths that each person brings into the room. Whether you're looking for support through a difficult season or seeking greater purpose, balance, and fulfillment, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by life’s challenges? Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, relationship issues, or the stress of everyday life, you do not have to go through it alone. My name is Michael, and I am a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience helping people from all walks of life find clarity, healing, and growth. I have worked extensively with individuals facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use and recovery, childhood and relational trauma, men’s issues, self worth, identity struggles, and relationship difficulties. My approach is compassionate, practical, and supportive. I focus on meeting you where you are and working together to untangle what feels overwhelming, while giving you tools that create real change. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes but about building a life that feels balanced, meaningful, and authentic. I also understand the importance of creativity and personal expression. My background in the arts has shown me how vital it is to have outlets for what we carry inside. Many of my clients are artists, performers, and writers, but creativity is not required. What matters is that you are a human being with a story, and I am here to help you move forward with strength and clarity. When we work together you will find a therapist who listens without judgment, asks thoughtful questions, and collaborates with you to find solutions that fit your life. I look forward to meeting you, learning your story, and helping you take the next step toward healing and growth.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across the entire state. If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near your address.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Depression, is filtering therapists in Colorado that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
