Do you struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, depression, internalized and/or externalized anger, or managing emotions in general in a healthy manner? Did you experience childhood trauma and feel like you grew up too fast? Were you labeled "different," "the "caretaker," "black sheep," or "troublemaker"? I teach people how to prioritize and honor all parts of themselves, not just the "desirable" ones. We will work through parts people generally dismiss and ignore such as anger, resentment, shame, and disgust, and learn how to embrace them gracefully. I'll teach you the skills to feel more at peace. As your therapist, I will be challenging and direct, yet empathetic and compassionate. I will challenge you through introspective questioning that will lead you to your own answers. I help you take what you've learned and apply it to your own life by giving you things to think about and work on between sessions, along with resources and handouts to remember. I hope you'll witness yourself feeling more empowered, confident, and more at peace with yourself as my other clients have. You will notice your relationships evolve and change, which can be scary! Rest assured, you will be provided with skills to gracefully go through them. Everything you seek is already inside you. All I’m doing is helping you remember.

Hello and welcome, I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with a practice rooted in curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for the human experience. My work is guided by the belief that healing emerges when we feel truly seen, heard, and held—an approach that honors both the conscious and unconscious dimensions of your inner life. I offer a holistic, integrative approach that engages mind, body, and spirit. I am certified in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, including ketamine-assisted sessions (KAP), and provide both preparation and integration support to help these experiences become a source of profound insight and growth. My practice moves beyond traditional talk therapy. I see storytelling not just as expression, but as a doorway to transformation. Through connecting with the body and attending to the felt sense of experience, clients can shift entrenched patterns, reclaim fragmented parts of themselves, and cultivate lasting change. By exploring both the personal and archetypal dimensions of your inner world, we work to cultivate resilience, confidence, and a deeper sense of trust in yourself and in life’s unfolding. Healing is not simply intellectual—it is a process of reconnecting with the wholeness of who you are, integrating the wounded, the wise, and the curious parts of yourself to step more fully into your life.

Hi, my name is Ron Cummings. I decided to become a therapist after dealing with panic disorder in my own life. For a while, I also had agoraphobia and was afraid to leave my house out of fear and anxiety over having a panic attack. This also led me to depression over thinking I might never be able to leave my home again and live normally. However, through therapy I was able to recover, return to college, and obtain a teaching credential. During my time as a teacher, I realized that many of my students were having problems learning due to what they experienced in the world outside of school and at home. As a result, I returned to college and obtained an MA in Counseling Psychology in 2013 and then my full LMFT license with the state of California. Through the years, I have discovered that life does not always provide us a smoothly paved road. I experienced many things that tempted me to give up, but I was able to make it through these things due to the support of others and through therapy. This is the reason that I am a therapist – to help others receive the help they need. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients on goals they wish to reach as well as overcoming anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and situational difficulties. I look to the past to deal with attachment issues of childhood that may inform the present of the client. I have training in CBT,Solution Focused Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, EMDR, DBT, exposure therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy . I use different therapies as it fits with the client.

If you struggle with anxious attachment, people pleasing, setting boundaries, feeling triggered, anger, anxiety, depression, co-dependence, parenting issues, and ADD/ ADHD, then I want to work with you. These symptoms and attachment style are often related to each other and often related to similar childhood experiences of inconstant or abusive/neglectful caregivers. (ADD and ADHD is not cause by caregivers, however, when it goes undiagnosed in children, there is s strong correlation to symptoms described above)

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience providing trauma-informed psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services from California State University, Fresno in 1999, followed by a Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2005. I am a certified EMDR therapist specializing in the treatment of trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, and relational distress. My clinical work is grounded in the understanding that unresolved traumatic experiences often shape emotional regulation, self-worth, relationship patterns, and the nervous system’s response to stress. Through EMDR therapy, I help clients safely process distressing memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and develop healthier beliefs about themselves and their relationships. My experience includes working extensively with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating complex emotional and relational challenges, including divorce, co-parenting difficulties, childhood trauma, attachment injuries, and family conflict. In couples therapy, I focus on how past trauma and unmet attachment needs can impact communication, emotional safety, trust, and connection within relationships. My professional background in community mental health provided extensive experience supporting diverse populations facing significant emotional, relational, and environmental stressors. This foundation continues to shape my commitment to providing culturally responsive, compassionate, and clinically sound care tailored to each client’s unique experiences and goals. I integrate EMDR with attachment-focused, strengths-based, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support healing and lasting change. I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their healing journey. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival patterns, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and experience greater emotional balance, self-understanding, and overall well-being. Emotions are the language of energy. In this language, there are critical messages to be understood. Emotions communicate what your needs are. Your mind translates this information so that needs can be met. Sometimes, it feels unsafe to acknowledge your emotions so the intellect, instead, pushes emotions down. With emotions silenced, you become deprived of connection to yourself, to others and needs go unmet. In this deprivation, you also lose authenticity. The call to acknowledgement returns, again and again, louder and louder. We can collaborate together to learn this language and to recover the gold of your authentic self. Its already there, where it has always been. Who you really are is full of potential, courageous, confident and quite worthy of connection. When you know this, there is an energy that arises as well. A motivation for action. Wherever you are at on this journey, is where I want to meet you. What a victory that you have already taken the brave step of searching for a therapist. Celebrate that. Perhaps the next movement is to reach out. We can explore next incremental steps from there.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. I am also a U.S. Army Combat Veteran, and my professional experience includes serving in the Veterans Health Administration, where I supported Veterans navigating mental health concerns, life transitions, relationships, housing instability, and other complex challenges. My experiences as both a clinician and Veteran have strengthened my appreciation for resilience, identity, service, and the many ways our experiences shape how we understand ourselves and relate to others. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work with an academic focus on Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality. This training informs my commitment to culturally responsive care and helps me recognize how identity, family, relationships, culture, socioeconomic circumstances, and broader systems can influence mental health and well-being. I approach these conversations with cultural humility, curiosity, and respect for each client’s individual experience. My therapeutic style is person-centered, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe clients are experts on their own lives, and therapy should provide a supportive space to understand patterns better, identify barriers, build on existing strengths, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with each client to establish realistic short- and long-term goals that reflect their individual needs, values, and priorities. My goal is to help clients gain greater insight while also developing tools they can apply outside of therapy. Together, we work toward creating meaningful, sustainable change that supports greater resilience, healthier relationships, improved emotional well-being, and a life that feels more aligned with who they are and where they want to go.
