Whatever it maybe, you deserve a safe, confidential space to share and repair what you've been carrying for far too long. Let me walk with you through your hurt, pain, and into a new space.
Welcome!
My name is Katherine. I have been a licensed independent clinical social worker for 30 yrs. I also have a 2nd master degree in nursing and worked as a licensed RN and nursing professor for a decade. This mental health/health combo has helped me to understand the very close relationships between our brain chemistry, our physical wellbeing and our mental health the enormous differences hope and support can bring to or take from our physical and and mental abilities, the multitude of ways and places a therapist can intervene - as a gain in any one one area, just as a loss, spills over into all the others. Finally I have been on both sides of the therapeutic relationship and the hospital bed, and it has given me a new perspective on what clients have to go through and the level of courageit takes to show your wounds to a stranger. The photo above gives you, at least, the face who you will be meeting before you book an appt. with me.
Hola! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than a decade of experience in mental health, behavioral health, and non-profit work. I grew up in Los Angeles, completed my Master of Social Work at Fordham University in the Bronx, and now call Ocala, Florida home.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families across the lifespan, each with their own unique stories and needs. My work is guided by an integrative approach, meaning I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods to find what fits best for you. I’ve worked extensively with family systems, intergenerational trauma, parents and children facing behavioral challenges, neurodivergent individuals, women navigating life transitions, and people seeking to better understand themselves and the patterns that may be causing distress, mood difficulties, anxiety, or OCD.
Some of my specialties include helping young adults transition into life after high school, supporting parents and partners as they navigate family life, and walking alongside Latina women who are balancing relationships, cultural expectations, independence, and self-care.
I believe deeply that every person’s journey is unique. That’s why I focus on meeting you exactly where you are, empowering you to uncover strengths, solutions, and coping strategies that work for your life. While I am trained in CBT and DBT, I see these as tools within a broader, collaborative process. At the heart of my practice is client-centered care — because there is no single path to healing that fits everyone. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that honors your voice, builds on your resilience, and empowers you to move toward the life you want to live.
Stop Scrolling. Start Healing.
Come as you are. Leave feeling lighter, with laughter and warmth along the way
With 22 years of experience, I know that mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all. Everyone’s journey is different, and what works for one person might not work for another.

I incorporate CBT, DBT, Somatic techniques and practical strategies to help you gain insight, develop coping skills, and create real, lasting change. Whether you’re struggling with focus, racing thoughts, overwhelming emotions, or just trying to keep up with life’s demands, I’ll work with you to find solutions that actually fit your life.
